Your nation's full name: The Allied States of Lembah (دڢل ليم بحة نغر) - ("Duval Lem Bh’ah Negara") - (ASL)
Your nation's full population: 14.1 Billion People
Your nation's founding date: ~3000 BCE
Your nation's type of government: There are two kinds of government among the allied states of Lembah, Citizen Stratocracy and War Council. Citizen Stratocracy is a militaristic form of democracy, where full citizenship can only be gained through military service; however, given the strictness and discipline, the voting franchise is limited to full citizens, and they are the only ones allowed to hold public offices. War Council is a militaristic form of oligarchy, where all decisions concerning the state are taken by a council of the nation's strongest warlords. While these favorable government types are totalitarian and militaristic, full citizens have the right to vote and as well as retaining basic rights that include assembly, speech, and privacy. Unfortunately, given these limited yet basic list of rights, freedom of movement is especially restricted (people cannot leave their city, town, village, or lands without a permit or the government approving of their relocation elsewhere); however, only full citizens enjoy such rights. Anyone who is not a full citizen is considered and treated as slaves to be used in military service or labor/work; only women (or wives if married among a family) are exempt from slavery but they don't have the right to vote until they undergone military service.
Given the militaristic forms of government, the High Command and the Admiralty have unusually prominent roles in Ruben society, wielding a great deal of influence in political circles. Generals and Admirals are highly revered among their nation-states, and given that fact that irregular warfare and sniper warfare is not uncommon, such leaders are kept closely guarded or sometimes labelled as state secretes to keep he/she hidden from assassins. In states with 'Citizen Stratocracy' as their government type, generals and admirals appear no different than their lesser officers and soldiers/sailors (uniforms are the same except for rank patches/markings), thereby making themselves hard to distinguish out in the field by the enemy (especially snipers); however, in nation-states with 'War Council' as their government type, generals and admirals are difficult to hide, especially when said leaders are the most powerful and influential men and women in said nation-state. Also, given the elitist and autocratic nature of the 'War Council' government type, societies ruled under this kind of government has an entrenched nobility that occupies the upper echelons of society, further suggesting that said warlords also come from an aristocratic elite.
How frequent does your government fight amongst each other? Do these internal conflicts regularly cause your government to fail in making important decisions?: Long ago, there were many wars on the Ruben homeworld (Lembah) due to three things: Land, Water, and Capital. Land is important since not only are Ruben nation-states are agrarian economies, but coming upon fertile soil for agriculture is far and few in the dry and hot desert-plateau terrain in Lembah. Next, water is the most important of all things, especially agriculture and most importantly the survival of all the inhabitants in Lembah; however, finding water is far and few on the surface (aside from the occasional rivers and oasis), while finding it in underground reservoirs is more plentiful but difficult to drill given the great depths. Lastly, capital refers to natural resources other than water, specifically referring to coal, iron, lead, saltpeter, sulfur, wood, and windstone (plus domestic animals like cattle, pigs, sheep, chickens and horses); however, capital can be the greatest contributor to war if water is not an issue. The larger and mightier nation-states usually go to war with one another over land and water (large nation-states have big populations to support and need as much land as possible), while smaller and/or lesser nation-states usually go to war with one another over capital (small nation-states have smaller and easier populations to support, but need capital in order to properly build and maintain their military forces and economically compete with the other nation-states).
How economically-independent is your nation?: 100%
How many personnel are in your military?: Approximately 400,000,000
How many nations is your nation allied with?: N/A
Just how big or small is your nation?: The ASL has managed to colonize its entire solar system, never mind unify its own homeworld despite countless millennium of unrest and conflict.
On a scale of 1-10, how prepared is your nation against natural disasters?: 10
What is the tech level of your nation?: Future Atomic Age (Highest Tech Range) to Post Napoleonic Era (Average / Lowest Tech Range)
Does your nation have weapons of mass destruction? If so, how many weapons, and what are they?: There is a combined approximate total of 60,000 nuclear warheads according to the Allied Lembah Council. Each state in the ASL owns their own number of nuclear warheads, each following strict guidelines to ensure that neither side could drop a nuke on each other. Prior to the ASL's foundation, nuclear warfare had been used before, responsible for creating half a dozen post-apocalyptic dark ages over the course of a 500,000 years in Lembah history. While Lembah itself has always been an arid world way before the invention of nuclear weapons, the destruction scattered across the planet's landscape left rich and painful reminders of nuclear warfare.
Has your nation colonized other planets or objects in space?: The ASL colonized its own solar system, already establishing habitable colonies on the surface of it's system's moons and the other three terrestrial planets after Lembah (Utshani, Inku Ngu, and Muj Lada). Utshani is a green and cooler planet akin to Earth, retaining landscape that is flat or hilly, with vast grassland, temperate forestland, and winding rivers dotting the lands; however, it's this very geography that made Utshani a special state of its own (thus becoming the main breadbasket of the ASL). Inku Ngu is a swampy and tropical yet sleepy planet, with little to no volcanic and tectonic activity, making ideal for peacefully cultivating jute and becoming the secondary breadbasket of the ASL. After Inku Ngu, there is the last planet, the cold and inhospitable world of Muj Lada; however, Muj Lada is a rich in natural resources, subsequently making Muj Lada the mining and smelting center of the ASL (a title originally held by Lembah).
Just how sanitary is your nation?: 80%

Any additional notes about your nation:
- (Planet Lembah): Lembah is an arid planet with vast deserts and plateaus, supplemented by mountains and rolling hills. It's the second planet in its own solar system, orbiting a bright yellow star; however, Lembah stands out from other desert planets due to the fact that it has a weak magnetic field. This subsequently makes Lembah a highly radioactive place, combined with it also being one of the hottest and driest habitable world out there in the galaxy, with average temperatures ranging between 111 to 149 degrees Fahrenheit (and highest temperatures reaching up to 192 to 230 degrees). But it's this very heat and exposure to radiation that gave the dominant species there, the Rubes, their healing factor and distinctive red skin.
- (Dominant Species): The sole inhabitants of the planet, Lembah, are the red-skinned humanoids called, the Rubes. They are a humanoid mammilian species like humans, retaining dark to regular red colored skin, and eyes with the colors of either red, yellow, or brown. They also have short pointed ears akin to elves, and have an average height between 6'7ft to 7'1ft, combined with muscular body types. The Rubes are an extremely resilient and durable species, capable of surviving injuries and outright fatal attacks that would normally spell instant death for ordinary creatures. This is because the Rubes have a powerful and stubborn healing factor, with the radiation magnifying this healing factor even further; however, their healing factor is not entirely flawless, since toxic heavy metals can inhibit the healing factor, subsequently poisoning and/or kill a Ruben.
- (Batnagyi): Wind Stone (بعط نعي) - ("BaT’ Nagyi") is a naturally occurring ore in Lembah, occurring on the side of mountains, hills, or canyon walls. Since Windstome is actually a crystal, the ore can spread to very slowly over the course of a century. Windstone is highly valued by the Rubes, since it is used for constructing airships for countless millennia, and in the recent centuries, it's currently used in creating multi-stage rockets and spacecraft. Scientifically, Windstone doesn't actually cancel out gravity - it actually repels one another when charged. While Windstone is not toxic, it does tend to bio-accumulate, and since all those little bits of Windstone repel each other, they exert mechanical stress on the cells they’re in, leading to illness and frequent cancers.
- (Spacefaring Technologies): Due to the advances in technology with windstone, anti-gravity technology became a pivotal component to Ruben spacecraft. Combined with breakthroughs in nuclear fusion technology, the Rubes have also perfected sublight fusion thruster technology; however, said thruster technology is not able to be upscale yet - fusion thrusters are still small yet modular. Nevertheless, these technologies culminated together with others to help develop and build Ruben spacecraft, with the flagship design being the D4 ‘Baraj Samawi’ Starship - a 1,400ft tall spacecraft that launches/lands vertically but flies horizontally like a missile. Ruben FTL travel technology has only gotten far enough to creating short ranged wormhole travel, which is one of the top five most advanced technologies in the ASL’s arsenal.
- (Military Overview): The militaries among the Rubes utilize infantry trained in marksmanship, stealth, survival, and endurance; however, that's not to mention that the Ruben militaries are divided into two distinctive branches, the Army and the Air Force. Both branches are largely shaped around Lembah's hot and dry weather plus natural disasters (dust/sand storms and flash floods). Subsequently, camouflage is not only standard-issued, but equipment is simplified to allow the infantryman to travel light and easy as possible while having to endure the extreme heat plus being able to move swiftly and easily on the battlefield. Lastly, given that blackpowder weapons are standard issued weapons in Ruben militaries, marksmanship is the name of the game for the individual soldier, since he/she only has one shot before having to reload. Even if line warfare is the norm for Ruben militaries, battles are usually kept close to settlements and hilly/mountainous terrain found in the plateaus - fighting in open desert is a seldom used strategy.
