"Greetings... It is a little heavy to explain... but I am afraid that no nation in our world, your world or any world can enter Zitravgrad visa-free or with visa-on-arrival, at all. We are a relatively young country with mildly turbulent politics and geography. Therefore, visa is definitely required to come in and go out of Zitravgrad until further notice. It is not expensive, mind you, but the process might seem trivial and fussy to you. We apologize for this inconvenience."
- Kazimir Ivanovich Miroslavsky, Chairman of Zitravgrad
OOC: Yeah that's a lot. :3 Keep it up!Deltanium wrote:I have to ask, what is your opinion on colonialism?
Ryan Schlotte, Governor-General of Deltisches-Est-Afrika
"Greetings, Herr Schlotte. Interesting question, isn't it? My official stance on colonialism is negative. Undoubtedly, it is a stepping stone of history on which the more civilized powers thought themselves the harbringers of culture and modernity to the less civilized lands. But it was not purely for that purpose. From time to time, the colonial powers also exploited the lands and their people and stirred unrest in the regions they touched."
...
"Once the "civilizing" process ended, the colonies would normally react in two manners: grateful or spiteful. Ideally, a good colonial empire rules their lands and dominions as equals and offers to them the opportunity to develop and prosper to the level of the capital country. But the truth does not always end that way. It goes back to exploitation and unrest, if not outright plundering, not only of physical aspects like resources and lands, but also of abstract aspects as in culture and social life. I believe that the age of colonialism is over and it is time to open the doors for nationalism."
- Kazimir Ivanovich Miroslavsky, Chairman of Zitravgrad

Do we get to drag them over here, or do we hand them over to you? I would like to clarify this to make any future incidents as painless as possible. Also, good luck in your election. I do not envy you, as such democratic processes seem tiresome and costly. Whatever the case, God be with you."

Now, I would kindly like to ask the new Prime Minister's position on Knessian-Zitravian relations these past few years, and how his folks wish to go about future relations. Every election influences relations, and it is actually quite bothersome from my position. My regime seldom and irregularly changes, while there is a clockwork turnover in most democracies every few years. I'm sure you can see why it would upset things in my Foreign Ministry, yes?"
