This rivalry has lasted since 1994, after three nuclear strikes were made by their Air Force under the name of Anglician Empire, their colonial master. They never paid our nation reparation pretty much until League of Nations forced an embargo upon them. And they are also a member of anti-communist coalition which tries to prevent us from gaining influence in the League of Nations as well as in the world market. So to say, I think their cultural, political and economical views look similar to the nation you call 'America', but this one remains a colony -- a large, almost autonomous colony."

"Zitravgrad has extremely difficult climate and much of the land has been rendered unsuitable for harvest. Therefore, we import food and agricultural products -- a lot of them -- to meet the demands. Unlike the popular belief, we barely enforce ration, but only do so in case of emergency, as ration is against the consumption habit of the population. Also, we import ready-made clothes and textiles."

2) Do you do much exporting of goods? If so, what do you export?

"Our nation, in all her unfortunate fate, is rich in mineral resources -- oil, natural gas, uranium, copper and diamonds. Mining industry helped us back to our feet after the wars, and so did the pharmaceutical industry. You can see more about our pharmaceutical industry in the factbook."

3) What is your opinion of Toraia and its people? (Sorry, can’t resist. We’re curious...and insecure.)

"I have seen your people being described as 'cheapskate'? Oh no, sir... we admire your frugality, since it has been the most prominent trait of us Zitravgradians. Also, well... your people's faith in religions is admirable... and the voting process is quite interesting, fair and square."

4) What are the conditions like in the worst prison in your nation?

"The Chernaya Krepost. It is reserved only for those who cannot be punished by basic labor -- mostly those who committed high treason or ferocious crimes. It is a freezing cold, dimly-lit and dreadfully quiet place in which even the smallest of noise echoes. The warders are usually silent to an unsettling extent. Prisoners will be expected to work for more than 12 hours a day for half the standard wage. But this 'work' is not limited to labor, it is up to their field of expertise. Scientists can continue their researches, accountants can work on the prison's accounts and so on..."

5) If they are represented at all, do you and your people tend to be portrayed positively or negatively in the media?

"If you mean in news, the international media have ambiguous attitude towards us. Sometimes good, sometimes bad -- but mostly bad due to our socialist tendency. But I have noticed a trend in other forms of media. A Zitravgradian can be portrayed either as a hard-working, law-abiding and patriotic comrade or a cold-blooded killer who does everything 'in the Motherland's name', always with a very exaggerated Russian accent."
