(ends the war getting the most good things/ends the war in the victorious side) Well, it can be broken down based on our history, with the early wars, we were fairly successful from 1360-1786, in 1786, it was the end of the war of Spanish-British-Carriebeanian interests, which saw the carriebeanian nation defeated by the combined powers of spain and britan, forcing to cede some islands to them.
From 1786-1920, we were not very successful, owing to the stagnation of military tech, a priority over political allegiance (after 1855, with the establishment of a prime minister, presidency, constitution and congress) and the bad foreign policy decisions taken by the leaders and kings of the nation. In that time period of 124 years and spanning the entirety of the 19th century, the carriebeanian nation found itself at the dying end of the 11th and 12th Crusades, the failing of religiousness as a means to rally the people up and a more focused drive away from combining politics and religion, seen with the quashing of Pope Talo's insurrection from 1845-1857.
From 1920-1990, during this seventy year span, we lost half of our territory in a two year war with america (1924-1926) participated in both world wars on the side of the triple entente and the Axis respectively, an amendment revolution that made the issue of amending the constitution put to bed (you now can amend the constitution), we also saw a devastating civil war occur off an on (1923- April.1930, Dec.1930-1940,1950-1953) between Parliamentarians, warlords, Republicans, Royalists and communists. The end of the Civil war established an incredibly weak presidential system and a monarch at the head,with arguments over how to fix the nation because of not only the civil war but also of our involvement on the Axis side during World War II in an attempt to gain back the land lost in the war with america. After the world war ended and the civil war died down, communists won the day, kicking off the weak presidential monarchy in exchange for a military junta that got involved in ineffectively crushing a rebellion in mexico over a fourteen year period (1971-1985), a seven year intervention in cuba starting 1970, and assisting the viet cong and north Vietnam from 1970-1987 against the democratic insurgency. with these large wastes of men and rescources, the communist government fell in 1990, a provisional government was established and another civil war broke off.

from 1990 to 2005, the country engaged in one of it's bloodiest and most unclear civil wars, with several factions such as Culd-e sac republics, Mormon militia movements, Islamic terrorist republican cells funded with oil money from the middle east, Amazonian ethnic groups oppressed by the CRA that wanted their separate nation, the set up provisional government, a Catholic Liberation Front, a Christian Defense Unit and Uncle Sams involvement from 2001 until the end made it a big old clusterfuck. It was our version of the Yugoslav Wars, only with a bajillion factions trying to kill each other and confusing front lines, with as many enclaves of territory as there were holes in swiss cheese. When the dust settled, the carriebeanian nation decided "we're pretty good at this war stuff, hey look what's popular now, helping, I mean, overthrowing regimes, let's do that!"
from 2005 to the present day, the Carriebeanian nation's foreign policy morphed into the aggressive sun of a bitch it is today. It first overthrew Namibia's government and was stuck there for the remaining 13 years of the war, it then went into Syria to help out Bashar Al Assad and ISIS for some reason, and we also marched into Peru because they were pulling an afganistan and keeping several radical royalists there from the civil war that fled to peru.

We also have a disagreement over the boarder with the United States, with our boarder being along the Gila river that meets with the Rio Grande with a small line across to connect the two, while the Americans claim they have the line set at the treaty of sacremento in 1926 as their boarder with the Carriebeanian nation.
