The national languages of Sylevia are French and Sylevian.

Sylevian (Sylèviais) is a language developed from the Norman language, with influences from French and to a lesser degree, some Brittonic languages and Flemish. Since the 16th century, Sylevian has been considered as an endangered language as the majority of the population spoke French, the language has seen a revitalization in the late 19th century and Sylevian has officially been declared as the official and national language of the country in the 1950's. The language is now widely used that there have even been talks of having Sylevian being the sole official language, by abolishing the official status of French.

The Leonnese is the official language of Leonnia, being spoken by all the inhabitants. With more than 7 dialects, little is known about the origin of this language, being its first record reporting the appointment of officials by King Lotr I for the maintenance of troops during the War of the 80 Years (983-1071). As Leonnia has been isolated for centuries, the language has developed in a totally different way being unique and unrecognizable before all. The organ that monitors and manages the affairs, dictionaries publications and about its state is the Academy of Letters of Leonnia (Acadèhmy d'Lett).

[Pilarcraft]

The Language of Pilarcraft, i.e. Pilartic, is a constructed Zonal Auxiliary Language, and the Official language (as well as lingua franca) of the Confederal Alliance of Pilarcraft. The Grande Assembly created this language in order to make communication and cooperation easier on the national level.

Essentially speaking, some bunch of guys decided that they'd make up a language to make communication, especially legal and political, easier. so they made it, and then taught it to everyone via mandating them to eat a pill that'd teach them that (we didn't put anything else in it).

Essentially speaking, Pilartic is a simple language grammatically, though the vocabular system is weird (based on Skandinavian, Arabic, Persian, English, German, etc)

The national language of Vandario is Vannish. Which is generally a Nordic language. Sounding closest to Old Norse or perhaps Icelandic. In the Western reaches a minority language that can be heard often enough for a mention is Valten, which sounds like German, or a varient of it. In the Eastern and South Eastern reaches are several varients of Khovic languages. The East has a native Khovic language from a minority group that is native to that's area. Along with some Vivian which you would find most similar to Russian. In the more South Eastern parts, Krocawic being the largest minority language there, being akin to Polish. We write in our own modern standardized runic system. Most of Eastern Areithia has adopted the same system though with a few minor tweaks for their own languages.

Our co- official languages are Dovahzuul (Dragon 'tongue') and [Njorin] Atmoradro (slightly Draconic but akin to Old Norse, Old Slavic, and ancient Northern nomadic languages; like a Slav, Norse, Mongol mix).
There are perhaps other languages that could be heard around Atmora, but perhaps not much from the living. There are also seldom any foreign travelers, yet Tamrielic Nords usually have better chances to make it long enough to use their voices.

The national language of the Empire is Ammarothi, which is almost identical to English with very few differences. It is spoken by the majority of Ammarothan citizens. In addition to Ammarothi, each imperial province also has an official provincial language which is co-equal in status to Ammarothi within that province. These are:

• Nebulese: official in Nebulene (identical to Russian).
• Montessan: official in Montess (identical to French).
• Cambish: official in Camberland (identical to Afrikaans).

Most citizens of the Empire are bilingual, fluent in both Ammarothi and their provincial language. However, rates of monolingualism are rising in all imperial provinces as children are increasingly being taught only Ammarothi instead of both it and their provincial language as is usually the norm. The provincial and local governments have started to take measures in an attempt to combat and reduce this bilingual decline.

Parfuhmerie's national language is acknowledged to be Demonish, but some higher-ranking individuals may know Lost Demonish, which is a living language that alerts those that know how to read it when its words & phrases change. Urgash's Demonish is another variant of Demonish that can only be consistently translated by the Demon Sovereign, Urgash's himself, &, or so recent archaeological discoveries have found, the residents of a temple known as Garactum Shuni.

The official spoken language of Zarahosh is Canadese--the language of our cultural empire, Canadia (Ooc: *unrelated to any NationStates country*). However, we do recognize spoken English (majority American English, but generally a blend of the various forms) as our secondary language. All official speeches are conducted in the Canadeon tongue.

The official written languages of both Zarahosh and the Canadeon people are Canadese and Canadeon English Standard (CES). CES uses the current American cursive font, but includes the additional letters of the Canadeon alphabet which are not present in the English alphabet and still abides by Canadeon grammatical rules. A third type, Canadeon English Basic (CEB) is generally understood by our citizens, and is what, for example, this post is being written in. All official documents are written in Canadeon, though pre- or post-copies may legitimately be prinited in CES. CEB is never official, and its use is discouraged in formal and/or professional settings. There are a couple degrees between CES and CEB that are used somewhat frequently (in non-official-government documents), but their legitimacy in formal/professional settings remains unanswered.
