In addition to a regular postal service, the postal service assigns an email to every address. Every single household is given a virtual storage box and an email address through the post office. The extension for the postal email is .ucpo. The government delivers domestic mail and packages on a daily basis. There is a special rate for Sunday. Mail can also be delivered by QR Code in addition to stamps. Much of the mail delivery is automated and drones often drop off boxes on second floors of houses or window pads for mail security.

The post office works with the NVPN National Virtual Private Network to help reduce the use of paper. People are encouraged to go paperless using systems like Office in A Desk which is a complete virtual office.

The A.P.S. maintains a distribution centre within the capital of every state and territory, and all communes maintain a post office and cadre of posties for local service. Mail is one of the most well-supported aspects here in Demotek. The Demotek National Postal Office is the government postal service, with at elast two branches in each community. It handles virtually the whole thing on letters and the most prominent used in packages and parecels (with minor competition from local areas such as massive cities). They get a nice sum of money from the government along with having stamps assisting in funding it.

They also serve as government offices where residents and citizens can get additional services such as postal banking (it's as popular as credit unions), obtaining forms, voting related phenomena (such as the axtual act along with registation) and passport purposes. In Coconut Palm Island, the postal services are largely antiquated-- letters cannot even be sent any longer, except in very specific circumstances. Because all citizens have smartphones (including the low income-- the Government helps citizens remain connected), there is no need for sending letters. Official messages from law enforcement, lawyers, medical professionals, etc. can be sent to citizens through iCPI, an app for citizens to connect with the government (this is also where citizens vote in elections and contact elected officials).

However, packages are transported through the Coconut Palm Island Postal Service (CPIPS). CPIPS maintains over 100 offices on the Island, where citizens can go to ship packages (and, when necessary, letters) to other offices. Small packages are delivered via drone, large packages are delivered manually. While CPIPS is nationalized, it charges fees, and does not use tax revenue to operate. Shippers pay a fee to ship their package from one station to another (greater if the package must be picked up, rather than citizen dropping it off at the station). Receivers also pay a small fee, which can be waived if they pick the package up rather than requiring delivery; this fee is waived for the economically disadvantaged.

There are five postal service enterprises with offices in the Entity: The Nova Universo Entity Postal Service (NUPost), DHL, UPS, FedEx and LBC. Also, postal and courier enterprises headquartered in Nova Tero also serve the Entity.

The services use lorries, vans and cargo bikes for deliveries within the Entity. Outside the Entity, items are handed over to other services which use lorries, ships and aeroplanes.

Who owns them?
NUPost is a government-owned and -controlled enterprise, while the other services are private enterprises which are subsidiaries of multinational companies.
