The Congo River is a pretty important transport route last I heard plus the large numbers of wetlands throughout much of the land means Marine like units would somewhat make sense depending on the context and the needs of the mission.

I'm Assuming your talking about the Democratic Republic of the Congo and by extension the Congo River basin region in general.

The future Vihenian SSN. Basically a multirole submarine.

Image
Image

Some features :

-Sail-less
-Integrated USV hangar, with more premium 10 m in length while 5 meter in diameter, allow deployment not only Swimmer but also something bigger
-8 VPM/VLS, 3 m in diameter and about 15 m in height, deployment of mini USV or whatever including a large caliber Vertical Gun.
-Surfaced displacement of about 17500 metric tonne.
-Much more improved accommodation for crew and integrated "mission space" for special forces or specialist.
-Length is about 169m, Beam of 21 m.

Others are basically standard, liquid metal reactor, pumpjet and electric propulsion with some perhaps 70K SHP for maximum speed of 35 Knot (perhaps less), 10 650mm torpedo tubes.. yeah.. those things.

Some questions; first off, what is the difference in terms of stealth between a nuclear-powered submarine and a diesel-electric submarine? Is one inherently better than the other?

Second, are improvised vehicles like plastic midget submarines for special forces/guerilla deployment practical?

No differences. Both boat are subjected to the same physics in terms of signature. The differences is in the spectra of the signature.

The older nuclear sub particularly, may have high intensity acoustic emissions originating from their nuclear reactor cooling pump and their transmission gear. Something which a diesel electric submarine lacks.

In the other hand Diesel electric sub can have much higher signature when it needs to either surface or snorkeling to recharge its battery. The signature is not only acoustic but also chemical from the Co2 and other particulate from burning the diesel fuel. This signature can be "sniffed" by spectrophotometer "sniffer".

Better is depending on the measure..this is one example

So for ocean deployment Nukes trump DE and DE with AIP submarine but in littoral environment.. DE with AIP can have better economic-military efficiency.

Second, are improvised vehicles like plastic midget submarines for special forces/guerilla deployment practical?

Yes. although of course depth would be limited.

Not sure HI Sutton's Shallow Water Submarine is a good model for a giant nuclear attack sub.

Would military personnel having much younger wives
(Men, especially officers, in their late twenties marrying 16 year old girls) cause damage to your country's cause?

Its your Canon, its upto you.

This sort of thing is impossible answer as it depends on a huge number of societal factors only you know.

Really other than taking the basis of " this isn't what a modern Western Liberal democracy does therefore it sucks" what exactly do you expect from folks?

as said it depends on the marines in question and how they fit in your national military.

Are they a key part of your national rapid reaction capability?
Are they fairly restricted in their role and capabilities?
Have you looked at a map of the DRC and had a good think about where and how you would need to deploy forces to acheive your objectives?

In short as with many non technical questions only you have the answers and you just need to step back and think things through to find them.

At one point in time that was kinda the norm for much of history in many societies. Young wife, old husband. Age wise most women tended to marry in the mid to late teens all the way into their early 20s depending on region with places like England averaging on the higher end and places like say the middle east on the lower end. In contrast men tended on average get married in their mid to late 20s for the most part though in some places it might be the norm for them to wait until their 30s depending on circumstances. Depends on the cultural back ground. The rule of thumb is the more educated and wealthier the female workforce the higher the average age of marriage. Well developed nations tend to be higher on the list of average age for marriages for females than less developed regions for the most part but again culture still partially plays a role. So it depends on the cultural and economic context of the nation in question. How such a scenario came about really matters for the purpose of answering the question.

It isn't worth modernizing ketchup - better to invest in a new platform like mayochup.
