My November claim hasn't been added either, and the little island in Epilo I claimed in October also hasn't been completed.

On another note, it has been pointed out to me that certain claims stacked months? Are we allowed to do that again?

Can I claim the following lands?

The ones with asterisks are the climate bonus hexes (I think I've done that right). I wondered whether the lakes that take up some of the hexes took up enough to also claim the islands in the black circle. I know I'm kinda pushing it a bit there so if you don't think that's ok, can I keep the islands and lose the hex with the purple asterisk.

Government Report: Skjoldur Expansion
Skjoldur has officially sent troops the to the border of Heartfillian nation. The expansion was not meant in an aggressive way but rather to establish first a border and secondly pen in the nation that’s intentions are not aligned with Skjoldur’s but rather Rome’s.
The border established two cities Grænse and Væg that can act as trading points between Skjoldur and Heartfillia and secondly establishes a military presence on the border. The expansion also establish a new border with the Roman puppet Natufian Nation although no real presence has been added just yet just ranches and farms.

Expansion February 2020:
Government Report: Bjorn’s expansion
The Jarl of Vinnland has sent reports to the mainland. The Asgarthians continue there aggressive expansions. They have sealed off the rest of Epilo from the Jarls forces and established blockades. In response to this Bjorn has launched aggressive expansions into the no man’s land and have taken over the area. There is now a border between Asgraeth and Skjoldur in Epilo and forts and blockades have been established. As of yet no conflict has ensued as both sides honour their commitment to the confederacy, however the Jarl asks that you bring up Asgraths aggressive policy in the next meeting, and maybe ask if we can establish a treaty to ensure no violence happens on the border.

However important note, Bjorn’s rushed expansion has produced some unexpected results. They have captured a bay that can be turned into a powerful port which gives us direct striking ability into Epilo. Bjorn has named the port Ofringsguden or god of sacrifice in the common tongue after his farther. Bjorn wishes to inform the king that there is nothing to worry about and that Vinnland is ready to strike.

Report to King of Skjoldur Kartjan on the expansions in his colony of Vinland:
Having been pinned in by the Asgarthian empire, the Jarl of Vinland Bjorn is forced to change his tactics. With the revolt on Epilo looking like it can provide interesting opportunities for Skjoldur Bjorn is looking for ways to strike. He has gained this by accessing an area of land that can be turned into a port. Having made an agreement with the council of high mages in Eldrearchus Bjorn has created settlements along the new border. The hope is the trainline services will be set up in the very near future with enough time for the planned strike on Epilo. The Jarl wishes me to inform you that the Asgarthian border has bee quiet. He suggest that the cowardly Asgarthian military are hiding from Vinnlands guards and suggests the Asgarthians will come to apologies any day now.

With the global Influence of Nouvel Acadie receding in recent months, the older regional ethnic groups of the area gathered enough political clout to get a proposal before the Royal Council to allow much of the Monarchy's Meridian holdings to peacefully secede. This proposal if accepted, would create a vassal state designed as both a buffer to potential Aurumite aggression in the future, and as a way to ease the current economic pressure on the larger empire.

This proposed state would also be responsible for managing the dizzying array of of populations found in this region, many of whom draw their roots from other now defunct states. These include but are not limited to: Cervidian (36%), Ibexi (23%), French (18%), Vermandois (12%), Aurumite (9%), Amarion (1%), plus other smaller groups making up roughly 1% of the population.

The debate is set to reach the Royal Council sometime in the coming weeks. Many on the continent wait with barely contained anticipation waiting for the ultimate decision which could see a self ruling state return to the continent of Meridia after a long period of foreign rule by various political entities.
