The INR Caronia, the legendary ship produced in 1999 by the Bilbarde Shipyard months before being bankrupt and bought by the also now defunct Andrenazzi after 11 years stopped due to various problems in its shell, went through a reform of more than 3 years that reformed all the rooms and cabins of the ship, as seen in the image above. Now, it is totally different from that seen on the notorious night of 17 October 2006, when he saved more than 300 people in a huge act of the commander Captain Gesperazzo Medici.

According to the statistics made there, the Costa Florenza officially sank on October 17 at 2:12 in the morning. The two captains were awarded the Order of Merit in 2007 by Emperor Tiberius, both of whom now live with fishing in Genoa, having their own statutes in the city. The Caronia is scheduled to make its re-inauguration trip in December 2018. Today, the ship left the quay for the first time, where it was photographed and seen by the population.
