The Federal Republic of Elhazia Q&A

Postby Elhazia » Sat Sep 23, 2017 11:47 am

Elhazia is a country that I've been developing for some time and this seems like a good way to present it to you. Here is the factbook. http://iiwiki.com/wiki/Elhazia
It contains a lot of things, but there will be much much more.

So, if there is anything you'd like to know about Elhazia, feel free to ask. :)

Hi
Unfortunately, I haven't made all political parties yet, but SDD will be sth like this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_a ... _Democracy and maybe like this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kukiz%2715
So, a right-wing populist party that stands for direct democracy and majoritarianism.
:)

What are the major allies of Elhazia?
Hello! I’m a GAer and NS Roleplayer from the United Kingdom.
My pronouns are he/him.
Any posts that I make as GenSec will be clearly marked as such and OOC. Conversely, my IC ambassador in the General Assembly is Ambassador Fortier. I’m always happy to discuss ideas about proposals, particularly if grammar or wording are in issue. I am also Executive Deputy Minister for the WA Ministry of TNP.
Kenmoria is an illiberal yet democratic nation pursuing the goals of communism in a semi-effective fashion. It has a very broad diplomatic presence despite being economically developing, mainly to seek help in recovering from the effect of a recent civil war. Read the factbook here for more information; perhaps, I will eventually finish it.

Interesting question. Elhazia is, mostly, a self-sufficient nation and we do not participate much in international incidents. But we have very good relations with our neighbours (Malaguenia and Dii) and several other nations in Greater Olympus.

When will you interact more in GO? :p

What is the average clothing style for a Elhazian citizen, and how popular are tracksuits?
A Dutch nation located on the continent of Lira, known for its confectionery, aircrafts, architecture, and strict cleanliness laws (surprisingly drugs are not listed)
Pro: Punishing corporations that commit crimes, Nuclear Power, Switzerland, Science, Singapore's cleanliness and conduct policies, Space exploration, Cultural nationalism, moderate capitalism

Anti: , Mass immigration/refugees, Justin Trudeau, Equal wages,Welfare for lazy people, EU, Bombing Countries Without a good reason, Chavs, Jeremy Corbyn, Internet Surveillance, Regressive Leftism, Pseudoscience, Hillary Clinton, Hard-drugs, Anti-Russia sentiment,
Antifa

OOC:
Oh, hi! I actually check our chat frequently. But, until a few days ago I had exams, so I wasn't active, but soon I will continue to work on our wiki stats pages (I promised a few weeks ago to do so). I'll answer your second question in a few minutes :)

Okay, If you are asking about everyday clothing style, Elhazians are known to be somewhat relaxed due to its collectivist and feminine culture. In our culture, overly formal dressing is perceived as creating distance to other people, while we value cooperation and closeness.
So tracksuits are very popular on the streets and are not rarely seen in many institutions such as schools and universities.
At work, people dress a little more formally.
T-shirts with collar, sweaters and blouses are the most common in almost all places, although it also depends on the region and season.

When it comes to formal clothing, it is not as common as in the other countries, but it is interesting that ordinary ties are almost non-existent. People usually wear bow ties (if they want to look very serious) or they wear a shirt and maybe a suit without a tie.

Central Elhazian cities (which is full of mountains) is also known for large jackets made of wool and scarfs with traditional patterns that can be bought in any Central Elhazian shop that sells clothes, souvenirs or traditional stuff.

Hi!

The pattern is our traditional pattern that is found on many folk costumes, ornaments and traditional clothes. We are very proud of out traditions and we like to have it on our flag. The star represents the legend according to which the wise men followed the star (on the sky) that led them to the place they wanted to go.

Cool! That's interesting. Must be hard for kids in school to draw though. Speaking of which, what's the education system like?

Thank you. Kids do not draw it in schools, but we do have allegiance.
You are lucky, because I've just started doing the education system. Children go to school when they are 7 years old. Elementary school has 8 grades. In first 5 grades there is one teacher who teaches all subjects, while in 6th, 7th and 8th grade each teacher teaches his own subject. After finishing elementary school, children can choose between gymnasium or vocational school. You can find subjects here:

http://iiwiki.com/wiki/Elhazia#Education

Oh, and also homeschooling and charter schools are very common.

Who was the citizen (of your nation) that created your flag?
"All I wish is to see the world burn."
-The Great Uniter and Beast of the DGES
(By the way, the DGES is a servant to DEAREST LEADER of Psychotic Dictatorships.)
Just your typical guy who wants to have fun. Don't take this nation seriously,
ever.
I DO NOT use NS stats!
Keshiland literally wrote:I would give it a no. A country that lies about how free, or how great, or how humanitarian it is can never be developed. Example, NK lies and says they are democratic and are not, the US lies and says we are free yet we incarcerate millions for a medical plant. See we are basically a larger more populated North Korea.

It is unknown. But our first president Tomislav Jehliczki ordered it and approved, along with the Parliament.
