Yawkmen & women speak a dialect of English that is strongly based off of upper class New England speech from the 19th Century, but it does have noted influences from the Southern US and Southern England. The accent is noted because Yawkmen tend to speak quickly and pronounce every sound in a word. To get an approximation of the accent, cross a yuppie douchebag with a rich Bostonian from the 1880s.

There are some regional accents. People in the largest city of Yank's Landing tend to have an accent that sounds close to General American, while people in the far northern, rural areas of the country tend to sound like the regions their people descended from, i.e. Scotland and the American South.
