Who currently has the right to vote in your nation? - All adults citizens over the age of 18. Immigrants gain the vote after attaining citizenship.

Who does not have the right to vote in your nation? - Convicted criminals forfeit the right to vote and in many states there are continued restrictions after release from prison. Immigrants do not automatically have the vote until they receive citizenship. In certain states non-whites are still informally restricted in exercising their right to vote.

What is the timeline of suffrage in your nation?

Prior to independence the franchise varied between each colony. After independence all male white natives and naturalised immigrants over the age of 21 had the vote. The vote was extended to women in the 1920's, to Aboriginals in the 1960's and to 18 year olds in the 1970's.

Who currently has the right to vote in your nation?
All Imperial citizens over the age of 20 years who have completed their mandatory two years of national service.

Who does not have the right to vote in your nation?
Non-citizen subjects (such as the residents of territorial provinces), citizens under 20 years of age, individuals currently imprisoned, and citizens who have not completed their mandatory two years of national service.

What is the timeline of suffrage in your nation?
Imperial suffrage today remains largely the same as it did in 1870 when the Imperial Federation was founded, in a time when universal suffrage was a fairly novel concept. There have been some minor functionary changes (such as the founding of the Imperial Labor Corps in 1922 as an alternative form of service to the Imperial Legions), but the citizenry's fundamental rights have remained the same.

All game-generated statistics and policies will be summarily ignored in favor of a good story.
