Hm... I guess Mon Ling is mostly polychronic. People usually aren't in a rush to get anywhere; they just walk leisurely to get places. Schools start at scheduled times and employees are expected to show up to their jobs at specific times, but being late to school is not often punished, and workers may be okay to arrive late depending on what job they have. The Ling phrase "bajole kon aun lapid" means "live at your own pace" and is often used to say that life will be better if you do not stress yourself with deadlines. This sometimes clashes with the Lingian belief in the importance of hard work, which has grown stronger in recent years, but I'd still say Mon Ling is generally polychronic, at least outside of the big cities.

Traditionally, Coscivian civilisation has had an irrealist conception of time, viewing it as a mere "medium for change" rather than an active force in its own right that "passes" or "flows". The Coscivian calendar is based on the tides and the phases of the moon, which lends itself to more cyclical thinking.

The Landfill does not operate on conventional chronological laws, or even unconventional chronological laws. There are those who see their world as omnichronic, believing that all of time exists at once and the limited ration of causality allowed to your average citizen is but an illusion to placate the masses. Most however have given up of trying to quantify time as anything less than an unobtainable island of stability in the unending paradox of their lives.

If anything, Equestria is achronic. Ponies have a very poor understanding of the concept of time, largely stemming from the fact that the motions of the celestial bodies which most people use to measure time are, in Equestria, manually controlled. Day and night occur by the command of our senior Princesses, Celestia the Sun-Raiser and Luna the Moon-Raiser. Likewise, the passage of the seasons and their corresponding weather patterns are decreed by Princess Celestia and enacted by the weather-ponies from among our Pegasus population.

The end result of this is that ponies don't really grasp the idea of time naturally progressing. Things happen in Equestria because someone makes them happen, not because they occur according to some schedule.
