It's illegal to upload pirated software, but it's legal to download it.

Its legal to download or upload movies, games or stuff like that in internet in official forums of my nation, so my cityzens can watch or play everything free, and of course everything is regulated by the Security-Control so we can know that the files that you're watching don't have virus and protect your's computer.

The Government has total dominance over the internet to every crack, cog, and string to the smallest of holes and the even smallest of the smallest layered with traps designed by the Ministry of Information to target and destroy wannabe hackers and users of pirated software to be thrown into notorious federal prison nicknamed; Inferno's chamber.

In Brasillie, few people have computers because they are considered to be quite expensive or because people do not give a damn about technology. Because of this, the laws regulating internet activities are quite simple and because of this they do not classify piracy as a crime, although it gives them the right to sue them and if they are highly discouraged by them.

Software piracy is illegal, but the punishment for it is rather light as recent government-funded studies have indicated that piracy has only a minor impact on profits.
