Really? I guess that would explain why americans keep trying to invade everywhere. Like if I had to subside on powdered mashed potatoes and kept being told they are actual food I too would volunteer to go invade anywhere and everywhere just for the chance to get the taste out of my mouth. the only way i could see it working is if youre working irl 100 hr weeks

so like an engineer or doctor or something with a really busy worklife that brings its own sense of self respect

I tend to cook by stopwatch. Like X dish takes Y to bake. Or this meat needs to be turned on the grill every Z minutes. And so I just wind up my phone. So I can leave things and walk out of the room to play video games or what ever and know exactly when I need to get back. Have newer burned anything in my life. And things always turn out great.
