What is the official language?

We have three official languages!

The first is Japanese, which is the most widely spoken language. It isn't much different from standard Japanese, except for a few quirky slang words.

The second is KiraKiran English, a spelling-reformed version of English with Japanese and a bit of Swedish influence.

The third is Furbish, and it's a constructed language! The language was originally created for the Furby toys, but came to be used in KiraKira Land as a lingua Franca with foreigners and immigrants. It is very easy to learn and has been greatly expanded from it's original form. It has it's own unique writing system.

2. How on Earth can you survive on just a vegan diet with added sugar? I asked Naosu about it and she seemed somewhat concerned.

2. The truth is, humans can thrive on a vegan diet. It has been proven to reduce risks of heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis and certain kinds of cancer. At the very least, we certainly don't need animal products to live a healthy life. You can get all the nutrients you need on a proper vegan diet, except for B12, which is from bacteria. It can be obtained from untreated fresh water, but not many Kirakirans drink that. Many snack foods, pastries and candies are fortified with B12. So nutritional deficiencies are not a problem.Of course not all Kirakirans are perfectly healthy. Because many people eat a lot of heavily processed sweets. But we still have a reduced disease and obesity rate compared to many omnivorous nations.
3. Absolutely, but we are concerned about the side effects, namely the nekofication being contagious. Perhaps if it isn't too highly contagious we can introduce it.

Well if it's contagiousness you're worried about, our variation doesn't have a whole lot of that. Of course it is a rather agonising and irreversible process. As for vegan diets, eh. I prefer just eating meat instead of trying to find ways to avoid hurting animals or whatever. I mean, its just a bit of death, and it's not like they won't kill each other naturally. Anyway, a few more questions.

1. You see to be very...loose, in terms of censorship and such. Even when it comes to clothing. Is that sort of thing not really considered taboo or whatever in your nation?
2. How would you react to nymphomania?
3. Given how...I hate to use this word, but free your country is, and I think I've heard from somewhere you legalised certain drugs for some reason thoigh I mag be getting mixed up...if I'm not getting mixed up what's the point of that?
4. What kind of defensive capabilities do you have?

Well, body modifications are common and normal here, so agonising and irreversible processes shouldn't deter those who want to be nekos. Many have taken to surgically implanting tails and fangs. Okay, after some analysis we will introduce the nekofication vaccine. If I may ask, is it effective under anaesthetic?

We don't like causing death, and we try to take a least-harm stance in life and laws. And yes, some animals are carnivorous, but they have no choice. We do, so we choose kindness ^^

1. If it's nudity you speak of, yes, there isn't any taboo. It's how we were born after all, it's just a body. Clothing is usually worn for aesthetic and expressive reasons, but is not mandatory. Heavily tattooed people tend to go naked in summer to show their decoration.
2. Free love is free love, one can sleep with however many partners they want, however often they want.
3. Yes, recreational drugs are legal. If you aren't hurting others, you can do what you want with your body. The point of it varies in the person taking the drug.
4. We have giant robots. But we would only ever use them in combat if someone attacked us and there was absolutely no pacifistic way out of the situation.

It depends. Some don't mind them, others won't touch them. A lot of people avoid artificial sweeteners. Regardless they are rarely seen here and the most common sweetener is stevia, a natural sweetener from leaves.

In foods, beet sugar is the most commonly used, followed by brown cane sugar. Xylitol has become popular.

1. Yes, technically it is illegal to kill any animal who is not harming you. This means that killing non-biting flies is technically illegal, but whether it is widely enforced or not is a different matter. With tiny animals such as these, big animals such as us pose a threat to them simply by existing. We might accidentally step on one for instance. Accidents are not penalised.

2. The punishment for murder, of a human or otherwise, is being sent to a rehabilitation facility where the criminal will stay for years until they have proven to be ready for release. If they are not able to be rehabilitated, they are transferred to a mental health centre where they will live the rest of their lives.
