Freemasons are tolerated here, so long as they abide by the law. The current Minister of Trade, Jedediah Gerald Stonewall, is the Grandmaster of the Grand Lodge of Knessniet. A few members of the ducal family are masons, and it is seen as a community organization for men.

Freemasonry is legal in Sharifistan and is influential, especially in the capital city: Madinat Al-Islam.

Most of the lodges are located in either in said capital or in other cities, especially in Pashtunistan.

They tend to follow the traditional rule of belief in a Supreme Being.

Members tend to be nobles between the ages of 22 and 60.
Common occupations include: military commissioned officers, Pashtunistan City Police officers,
Madinat Al-Islam council officials,
Fire chiefs, judges, Chief Executives and Chairmen of charities and academics.

Freemasonry is legal and common in Saranidia.

The Grand Lodge of Saranidia takes a middle-ground between the traditional and modern kinds of freemasonry:
They keep the traditional requirement of believing in a Supreme Being.
But they remove the requirement that members be male.
The minimum age for membership is 18.
Mostly represents my views but what I think a Middle Eastern nation should do which will be sometimes different to what I think a western nation should do(because the people have different needs in different places)

Our secret societies don't tend to build cities or have recognizable symbols or television commercials. The ones that do are illegal because they're stupid.

Freemasons are considered one of the worst enemies of Ashmedai herself, alongside the likes of Scientologists and Jehovah's Witnesses. In fact, their support for the despicable men during the Great Gender Wars led to their official outlawing under Reich law. The Tiefesfrau Bund has passed an effectively permanent law that calls for the execution or trial of all freemasons on sight.
TWO WARNINGS: I DO NOT use NS stats, and this nation contains tons of risque and controversial elements that ARE NOT for the faint of heart.

The Avatars are aware there is a handful of Freemasons in Fuzzbuckets (the country is a hotspot for unorthodox religions) but as they don't seem to do much harm, they let them be.
