Are you aware that Article 8 of the Statute of the International Criminal Court provides that in international warfare, the "pillaging of a town or place, even when taken by assault," is a war crime? If so, why do you engage in such activities? If not, what do you intend todo about it?"

"Yep. But we don't care. We have enough guns, guts and guile to disobey it, and... who obeys it anyway? This is goddamn war, not a chess game.
Besides, we don't just loot and pillage like crazy. There is a code of honor among us, which forbids us from pillaging common folk (Not rich officials from hostile governemnt, or their lapdog corporations. They are primary targts for pillaging) and causing artrocities, so less people die in proccess. Besides, compared to usage of chemical weapons by some countries, or genocides, this is just a small flaw. We actually fo more good than harm. But your concerns are reasonable.
And why we do this? That tradition came from revolution, when we used to strip enemies clean, so no resorce would be wasted. And that helps to attract more volunteers to our ranks."-Man-at-arms.
