Good Afternoon. I hope this missive finds my counterpart well. As a duty of my office and following all proper diplomatic protocols, responsibility of reply has been delegated to my person as Secretary of State, his excellency the Confederacy’s President having fulfilled his constitutional and diplomatic role in establishment of relations between this republic and the Erbonian Kingdom.

I write you with assurance that our Ambassador, the Honorable Mr. Lee, will present his credentials to His Majesty and the court on the date requested, and in the manner specified within the context of an audience with His Majesty, your King.

Mr. Lee has been informed of his assignment to head the diplomatic mission at Lendert-with-Cadell and has been briefed upon his audience and the necessity of presenting a brief oration upon the general subject of established Nortish-Virginian relations.

Henrietta Jenkins, the Chief Protocol Officer of the Bureau of Consular Affairs has been duly notified of the protocol required within His Majesty’s Court and will see to it that Mr. Lee fully understands the minutiae of protocol and the agenda for the day of his presentation at court. In addition, Mme. Jenkins and her staff shall be in communication with the proper official within His Majesty’s court responsible for protocol to ensure that the King and relevant staff are aware of certain customs in our diplomatic relations with monarchs that may seem to be peculiar within your tradition. It is our hope that any potential wrinkles may be smoothed before this auspicious and historical meeting and that the entire event goes off “without a hitch.”

Prior to Mr. Lee’s audience with His Majesty, this Department’s Bureau of Media and Global Affairs shall provide your person with a transcript of the speech delivered at the audience, as well as the Embassy’s press release regarding the occasion, for the benefit of your public information services and your nation’s newspapers and media outlets.

It is our sincerest hope that this will spell the beginning of a long, fruitful, and blessed Nortish-American partnership built upon shared values and amicable diplomatic exchanges.

He then retired in 2002 for 9 years and returned to his home country where he became a government official in the ministry of economics.

This missive bears to you the message of Her Majesty Sophie Vincent and her humble servant the Minister of Lorecia and Foreign Affairs Madame Romi Schatz. Her Majesty's Government present its compliments to His Erbonian Majesty’s Foreign Office.

As you might be aware, the Kingdom of Mizialand is observing its 110th Queen's Day on 17 April 2022 as a mark of the end of the rule of the tyrannical and barbaric Sanchez dynasty and the establishment of the Vincent dynasty by Queen Guérin Vincent. The day is marked by a parade comprising cultural performances from various part of the Kingdom and a march by children. It is my immense pleasure to extend to His Erbonian Majesty the invitation of being the Chief Guest of Honour for the said parade.

Thus, I wish to enquire of the availability in the schedule of His Erobnian Majesty should he find time to avail us the rare opportunity of serving him as the Chief Guest of Honour on the aforementioned date from 0800 hrs to 1200 hrs Central Lorecian Time.

ON HIS ERBONIAN MAJESTY’S SERVICE February 21st, 2022 My dear Mr. Stoffels, Thank you very much for your letter dated the 18th instant bearing Her Majesty Queen Sophie Vincent’s invitation to His Majesty to attend and be the Chief Guest of Honour at the Queen’s Day celebration parade on April 17th this year. His Majesty is commanded me to convey to you and Her Majesty the sense of his sincere appreciation at being invited to the 110th such celebration in such an esteemed position. His Majesty has asked me to inform you that he must unfortunately decline the invitation on account of Easter Day falling on April 17th this year. As the Governour of the Church of Nortend, His Majesty is bound to attend public divine service on this day and attend to other official matters which fall on Easter Day as well as hosting the Easter Banquet. As such, His Majesty would be simply unable to attend the Parade. NOTE VERBALE    Note Nr. 3 of Whitsun, 2023. His Erbonian Majesty’s Foreign Office presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tourism and Trade of the Democratic Union of Deathfall and has the honour to acknowledge the receipt of the Ministry’s Note 4046 of 2023 dated May 27th, 2023 which reads as follows, to wit :— “The Deathfallian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tourism & Trade presents its compliments to His Erbonian Majesty’s Foreign Office and has the honor to inform the Kingdom of the position of the Union as to the Kingdom and potential relations between our countries.” &c. &c. The Foreign Office notes the reaffirmation of the position of the Union as previously related in the Ministry’s Note No. 10 of 2021 dated December 8th, 2021 as it relates to the status of homosexual men in the Kingdom and also that the position of the Union is that this does not constitute a barrier to diplomatic relations between our two States. The Foreign Office expresses its full agreement that mutual diplomatic relations focussed on the protection of the nationals and residents of our two States and other protected persons in either State are desirable with the aim of attaining to a mutual understanding of cultural and economic differences between our two States. The Foreign Office notes with regret that the Union is unwilling to accredit an Ambassadour Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Court of St. Michael’sgate nor to receive an Ambassadour Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary or Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of His Erbonian Majesty at this time. The Foreign Office further prays that the Ministry explain further what “promise” is sought from the Kingdom as the Foreign Office is unaware of any ultimate prohibition on the emigration of free Nortchmen. The Foreign Office has the honour to convey His Majesty’s Government’s agreement to the arrangements in paragraphs five to eight of the aforementioned Note 4046 in principle. The Foreign Office also conveys the Government’s gratuity for the offer for arrangements for visa-free travel between the Union and the Kingdom and vice versa but notes that such offer is declined and affirms that the policy of the Kingdom is to require charta visæ for the entry of all aliens to the Kingdom except those to which certain especial arrangements apply. The Foreign Office has the honour to note the appointment of the Right Honourable Senator Archer Black, Shadow Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Tourism & Trade of the Union to act as temporary Head of the Union’s Mission to the Kingdom.
