Nearly Finland gained independence from Mexico in 1916, the year is currently 1930.

One could argue Watuhuru is either 109 years old or 186 years old. This is due to the fact that 77 years after we formed the Federation of Watuhuru, we restructured our government into a true Republic.

New Bahtar's independence was declared in 2016. That would mean New Bahtar is a year old, but the country still has not received international recognition.

The empire of Arcadia was formed in 1018, and we became a democratic state after a coup in 1740 and the year is 2034 so my nation is 1,016 years old from the formation of the Empire and 294 since the transition into a democratic state

That depends. The Bijanian empire was officially founded on February 17, 1422 when Bijan became supreme leader of the city state of Bijan (now known as Bijan City). However, the empire began annexing lots of city states, and the Bijanian population started to multiply rapidly and mix with other ethnic groups, eventually overtaking many of them. We also had a major war in the 20th century with the Comisar that led to them being annexed, roughly doubling the size of our already large country. Parliament has existed since 1650, but only became democratically elected in 1960. Then you had the Citritan war in 1967, which while not nearly as significant as the Bijan-comisar war, was still very large and added a new ethnic group to our country. But overall, the empire was founded in 1422.

Sectian was founded in 1367, but wasn't run/lead by anyone until th 1600s.

The current government of Rosaceae has existed since the third of June, 2003.

Keldros became a unified nation under the late Emperor Kel Duros in the year 576 AD. Before that, the people were a disparate confederation of warriors, raiders, scholars, merchants, and their baggage train of women and children.

We're a city (not a nation), but it's either - depending on how you look at it - 800-odd, 150, or 89 years old. Tinhampton was first recorded as a settlement circa 1200, given Letters Patent on 8th October 1866, and got devolved powers effective 1st November 1928.

Officially, the nation is only 5 years old, but it comes from a long line of nations that have changed in ideologies and leaders over time, starting around 6000 years ago, when the most powerful wizard in recorded history, Starswirl the Bearded, united the tribes and city states of the equestrian continent, creating what could be called the first real empire.

Kittila in its current form declared independence on 22 June 1948, although it was a Soviet Socialist Republic from 30 December 1922 to 10 February 1947, when the territories making up Kittila were returned to Finland following the 1947 Paris Peace Treaties. The referendum on independence was held just over a year later.

In terms of real-life existence, this nation is only a few days old. I have had other nations in the past though - but I believe this is the first time I have posted on the forums. Ever.

The First Imperium proclaimed dominion over Altmoras over 4000 years ago. However the current Grand Imperium has only existed for a little over 200.

Our nation was originally hundreds of sovereign states, with nearly 97 dynasties in power. The unity of these states was not great, however. New nations formed every month.

Eventually, multiple nations united into eventually four regions, and these regions eventually united into our current borders.

We were originally a constitutional monarchy, but an autocratic ruler soon took power. Finally, in the 1600s, we became a republic.
