My nation has freedom of religious belief in the constitution, however there is no strict separation between church and state. The Roman Catholic church has a status of being a "favored" religion, while falling short of being the official state religion. For example; under law the Roman Catholic Church can collect tithes from it's members. There is always a lot of debate whether or not the country should go down the Laïcité as France has done, it dominates every election campaign.

Other tolerated faiths are Shinto and Buddhism. Paganism, Satanism and Wiccanism/Wizardry are heavily prohibited and persecution towards citizens of these faiths is not only tolerated but promoted.

Pro-atheist Anti-Catholicism was enforced during the Revolutionary period (from 1952, the beginning of the civil war, to about 1980, where actual elections were introduced). The population of New Wroclaw is overwhelming German and Polish. Those of German ethnicity are mainly Lutheran while those of Polish ethnicity are mainly Roman Catholic.The Lutheran and Roman Catholic churches are our two official state religions. Freedom of religion is guaranteed by our constitution and everyone is free to worship or not worship as they wish.
