Soldiers pledge allegiance to God and the Crown, which is traditionally represented by a King or Queen but with the suspension of the monarchy in practice the Viceroy is the crown.

Upon entering the military all recruits must say the following pledge :
"In the name of Kyrus, God of War, Syrailion, God of Honour and Truth, and Lyranci, Goddess of Fortune, I swear loyalty to the Most Regal Military of Her Royal Highness Empress Rozu Nuna IV. I swear that I will serve the Regal Confederation of Nunavutialand for eternity, whether it be military service or work, or charity. I swear that I shall never leave one for dead unless I am guaranteed death. I swear that if I do not abide by the Law of the Land or the Law of the Military that I pray for my eternal suffering. I promise to give my life to the nation and Her Royal Highness Empress Rozu Nuna IV if she be in danger. I take on this responsibility in front of the Gods, and should I breach this Promise, may they condemn me to eternal suffering in the deepest realms of Hell."
This pledge was first used in 1120BC. It was last updated when Her Royal Highness ascended to the throne on 5/1/2017.
