While the landmass that is Gandoor historically was considered an island, indeed the earliest name for it in English was The Great Island, in the modern day, most people consider it to be a separate continent due to size alone. In terms of total area, Gandoor is larger than Australia, which is also considered a continent.

That being said, many people here in Gandoor would answer the question of 'Is Gandoor an island or a continent' with 'Gandoor is a Gandoor', which is a quote from the late Prime Minister Reginald D. McFatton Sr in the late 1970s when the debate over what our nation should be classified as was at its highest.

Yes. While I will not deny nor downplay actions committed by régimes such as the USSR, China, and others, Nazism, at its very core, is based around fascism, hatred, totalitarianism, antisemitism, and white supremacy. Communism, on the other hand, does not need to result in an authoritarian or totalitarian state; our nation is a good example of that, the revolution that led to the modern Democratic Republic was spearheaded and led by the Communist Party (but the New Democratic Party, the part I'm proud to be a member of was also involve in the revolution), our nation officially espouses a goal of establishing a socialist state, and we are well-regarded as a bastion of liberalism and democracy.

Of course, the Gandoor Revolution lasted from 1900 to 1902 and our current government was established in 1904, so we do predate the USSR by 18 years.

That is a hard question to answer but, if I may be honest, Gandoor considers itself as a middle power, rather than a minor or a major one.

We certainly hold more power and influence in international politics than countries considered minor powers, due to factors such as our population and economic strength, but due to our stance of neutrality, which dates back to the early 1920s, we avoid playing a large role in international politics like major powers such as the United States do.

'History' will show you that there are numerous communist parties that both did and do participate within the confines of the democratic system, of course I wouldn't expect a country such as yours to be able to understand anything that shatters your Cold War-era propaganda and viewpoints.

I mean even aside from that utterly simplistic nonsense about 'communist parties don't support democracy', the Gandoor Communist Party is not a communist party outside of the name, they are a democratic socialist party. But I expect you to think that 'democratic socialism' is the exact same thing as 'communism'.

1. I am personally opposed to affirmative action, as I believe that a better solution for equality is by applying colour blindness when it comes to things such as one's ethnicity, sex, religion, sexual orientation, or any other aspect of one's self that may have led to them being discriminated against in terms of employment, education, etc.

2. I would say that I support this, from my limited understanding of it. I do believe that society should work to protect the Earth and the development of new technologies that are intended to work with this goal whilst also advancing society is a goal that we should work to achieve.

3. Opposed to any form of discrimination, don't think I need to say much more than that.

4. I dislike him immensely, I consider him and his government responsible for the deterioration of Gandoorese-United States relations over the past several years. While Gandoor has never had the best relations with the United States, they were certainly far better before he came along.

I consider myself an environmentalist, so I'd say preserved.

I do dabble in video games from time to time and from my own POV, I fail to see how someone could call a movement based around, at the very minimum, sexism and harassment of women 'the greatest social movement of the century'. GamerGate, to me, was a bunch of pathetic children throwing hissy-fits because 'icky girls' were getting involved in their 'boy's club' and wanting video games to be treated more seriously like television and film and then acting like brats when people started to do the exact things they claimed they wanted.

I wouldn't really know how many, obviously we have quite a large number that operate in factories and a fairly large number of household robots of various types, granted many household robots are glorified vacuum cleaners. We do have some more 'humanoid' robots as well, but those are generally used for demonstration and development and not much else yet.

I'm opposed to it and think it's flawed from the get-go, how does one define 'merit'? Are some things worth more merit than others? There's also the fact that some groups will have an advantage over others, meaning that they'd be more likely to receive promotion and reward for what they achieve, continuing the system of inequality we currently have.

Certainly, we are different countries after all. There is a large influence from Japanese popular culture, due to the significant Japanese population (for instance, Gandoorese animation is much more influenced by Japanese anime than Western animation), but there are also numerous differences. Unfortunately, I'm not one to really talk about those differences, since studying up on pop culture and mass media isn't really something I do.
