It is important to note that transportation is constitutionally stipulated as not being an issue devolved to Tinhampton. Despite this, the Tin City has not been stopped from producing welcome signs. Well, some could say it has (or always was), but the signs are up for all and sundry to see.

SIGN A: These signs were originally produced in the 60s after the federal Worboys Report was published (then as now, transportation was a federal issue), but have had some modifications since. The version you see in front of your eyes has remained unchanged for 30 years, and nobody has bothered to remove them or change them as of yet (hence why the mayor is still listed as Katrina Petroshenko, who was voted out in 1989, and why Tinhampton is still "Celebrating our 120th anniversary!"). These appear on all entrances to Tinhampton from the M035 (which acts as the motorway in the Demilitarised Zone between the UK and Tinhampton), and many from other roads.

SIGN B: These signs were originally erected in the early 60s (due to wear and tear; the older signs had the same message), and remain on some of the routes in and out of Tinhampton, most notably after leaving Terminal 3 of Tinhampton International Airport, and also after leaving Tinhampton Docks (although Sign B had already been removed circa 1970; it returned about eight years later by alleged vandals as "a memorial to show the ignorance that Tinhampton's government showed to the Barrier Islands for 50 years", thus making it one of the biggest social-justice successes in Tinhampton yet).

[The Huterric Union]

Here is our welcome sign at the start of the H1 highway, the most used entry point on road. The H1 takes traffic from the previous nation's capital all the way to our capital, Laclan, which as you can see, is 2000km from the border.

Weirdly, H doesn't stand for Highway. It stands for Huterric!

Since we don't have any land borders, our welcome signs are at airports, ports, etc. They usually have our flag and seal/emblem next to each other at the top and below it:

Every since the 3rd Helot Bush War in the 90's and the threat of a resurgent war have lead to the border with Namibia remaining closed leaving once friendly welcome signs to be grim reminders of the two nations threats of war.

Generally accompanied with the necessary traffic signs, signs warning travelers to have their passports ready, et cetera. The signs at the Finnish border also have the information translated into Finnish, along with some threatening warnings about Western contraband that will be confiscated by border guards.

Tekirlemmih does not have any land borders and such the only welcome signs can be found at airports. This airport sign is from Nedatsarots International Airport's international terminal, just before the passport check.
