Black signifies aristocracy and royalty, it is the color that represents order and stability as exemplified by Darussalami inegalitarian hierarchy.
White is the color of the Islamic faith - it represents piety, purity, and more importantly, death. It also represents the multitude of nations beneath the Peacock Throne, for all colors blend into white.
Gold is the color the Ma'adids, the present Imperial Dynasty, which started its ascent as a merchant family. It represents unbound prosperity and unparalleled wealth bestowed by God through the patron-angel of Darussalam and the Dynasty, Umr at-Tawil.

The national colours of Arthropol are white and blue. The white represents the Arthropolian monarchy, while the blue represents the sea, the sky, and the house of Bourbon. Other national colours include red and yellow, the colours of the Occitan flag. National sports teams in Arthropol have red parts on their uniforms because of this.

Colours of Your Nation

A black and white version of the ‘Unification Law’ was the nineteen countries’ first official flag. In January 1871, the royal blue of the Kingdom of Alexandria and the pastoral green of the Regency of Lindblum were adopted for a redesign of the flag, with the Royal Law symbol of the Kingdom of Burmecia moved to the centre — they are the dominant countries in the Realm of fiords and mountain.

In 1914 the phrase ‘Liberty, the Law, and to Defend by Arms’ was added to accompany the Unification Law symbol. Only in 1939 was the new version of the flag finally declared as the “national flag” of the nineteen countries, and was adopted for use on shore as well as on all navy and merchant navy ships of the realm.
