The emperors summer and vacation residence in just south of Neudorf. With 16 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms and access to a private lake and a 6 acre hedge maze in the back it is the epiphany of luxury.It is named after the first ambassador to Antarctica and suspected mistress to former emperor Darryl O'Claire.

The Megatron Mansion. It's one story tall, but has a huge, sprawling footprint. Like all Cybertronian buildings, it's made of metal - however, it is finished in fine alloys that are clearly more expensive than the usual. The inside is very luxurious, with the flooring and wall finishes varying by room. Most of the interior accoutrements come from Planet Cybertron, but some smaller rooms are done in materials from planets we have taken over.

Of course, the leader is Megatron himself - it isn't one of those places named after some long-dead guy.

Despite its size and expensive finish, the Megatron Mansion's most notable feature isn't the house itself, but instead, the Energon Supreme fountain that constantly flows outside. Since Energon is currency as well as fuel, this makes it literally a money fountain. The elite guards that protect it from raiding are allowed to take two Cubes a day for themselves; perhaps counterintuitively, this does a lot to keep them from stealing far more.

• Our ruler Princess Celestia and her sister Princess Luna share Canterlot Castle, the great marble, gold and lapis palace that occupies about half of the mountainside capital city of Canterlot. Formerly the two shared a castle known as The Castle of the Two Sisters (obviously), but it was devastated during Princess Luna's treason and rebellion, and Princess Celestia didn't have the heart to have it rebuilt. It currently lies in ruins in the heart of the Everfree Forest.
• Princess Cadance, third in line of seniority in the Alicorn Sisterhood, rules from the Crystal Castle in the heart of the Crystal Empire. It's a grandiose structure of solid crystal, resembling the Eiffel Tower although with multiple spires. Her daughter Princess Flurry Heart, fifth in line, lives with her there.
• Princess Twilight Sparkle, fourth in line, lives in the most recently built (so to speak) castle, dubbed the Castle of Friendship. It stands on the outskirts of the little village of Ponyville, and appears in the form of a gigantic crystal tree, having been grown from a shoot of the ancient and mystical Tree of Harmony. The Castle of Friendship is probably the oddest of the three castles, having an uncertain interior--rooms appear and disappear as needed. It's believed the castle is sentient in some manner, communicating silently with its residents to provide them with the space they need.
