Overview
Having previously been a single country, Darmen seperated over the course of a decade beginning in 2015. In the September of 2027, the twelve nations that had established themselves since the collapse of the Darmeni government formed the Confederation of Darmen. A loose governing association, much of the real power remained with the various national governments, the Governing Council of the Confederation dealt mainly with the areas of Defense and Foreign Affairs. In addition, overall standards of living in Darmen had fallen substantially, and so, in early 2035, the Governing Council of the Confederation called for the reunification of Darmen and the creation of a new constitution.
