Despite the quality healthcare and low-crime, a small number of highly illegal, highly expensive off-the-books abortions still occur in corrupt private practices, the Government has since taken measures to begin cracking down on these corrupt institutions.

The Government prefers to help the less-fortunate, or those who may be disadvantaged in life due to circumstances, rather than having mothers eliminate the child before it's born altogether, the Republic of The South Caribbean sees it as an extremely inhumane practice.

All-in-all, the Republic has a traditionally conservative view on the matter.
