Where does YN stand on Scottish Independence

Scottish Independence is a growing topic of debate since the Brexit vote and the earlier referendum on independence, it is important to discuss on NationStates. So, where does YN lie on Scottish Independence?

Vescus strongly supports Scottish Independence, and will happily be a strong ally of Scotland if it ever decides to make the glorious decision. We'll give it aid and support so it flourishes as a country (and not to mention, advertise it to our citizens to visit). We will happily accept and send invitations for state visits between Vescus and Scotland as well. We feel Scotland has enough economic security and it needs to be free to make its own decisions on welfare and immigration, regardless of whether or not we agree with such policies.

As a nation, Vescus supports and endorses any independence movement there is, and strives to be an ally to newly independent countries.

Our nation recognized the rights of a nation to determine it's future, via democratic means, so our public opinion actually favoured the independence of Scotland.
However, our nation is a Commonwealth member, and has a strong and close relationship with the U.K., and thus it will be unwise for our government to sacrifice our interests in the whole nation just for the sake of a particular region which wants to secede, so our government take a neutral stance in this matters, but strongly support the unity of the U.K., and will stand beside the Kingdom if the situation demands it.
