Who is Queen Mesma?

She is perfection. The people of Hypnos worship her as their Goddess, as they should. For the subjects of Hypnos, without Mesma, they would be lost, unable to live without their grand mistress to guide them.

There is a misconception that her mindslaves are treated as nothing more than props to service her needs. This could not be farther from the truth. Yes, her subjects serve her completely without question, and she will indeed use them for all such needs, but she treats fairly and equally. To Mesma, her subjects are her children, and without their mother they would be unable to survive on their own. She'll caress and care for individual slaves if need be, and Mesma provides all of her subjects with the necessities they require. Even when someone breaks their trance, more often than not she'll be gentle in bringing them back under. She does care greatly for her people, she just wants them to be loyal.

She is not without fury though. Those who break trance and struggle/refuse to go back into trance are killed without mercy. To Mesma, if they think she's not worth serving, they aren't worth living. She also has no use for most other nations. To her, they're are merly lost, and will eventually have to serve her.

Mesma has two specific magical abilities:
- The first is of course her hypnosis. An incredibly powerful and seemingly endless form of it, she can bring hundreds or thousands under trance at once instantly, implanting suggestions in their minds. Those who are hypnotized also stay under for as long as she desires, and when someone falls under her hypnosis in their minds they are given their wildest and most fantastical desires, making leaving the trance near impossible. Only one person has ever managed to break her trance and escape Hypnos, and they've said that it's by far the most blissful and wonderful feeling on Earth, and that they almost miss it.

- The second is her immortality. Through unknown means, Mesma is able to retain her youth and health, giving her an image of being in her late 20's. No one knows her exact age, but estimations say she's around 2500 to 4000 years old.

Our leader is the Háttsettur, and name is Magnus Vinterjern and is currently 47 years old. He is a level headed traditional fellow, who believes in honor and other traditional values. He is a deep lover of history and culture, his home containing many relecs of Vannish history. He's known to be a calm and collected man not given to being emotional, approaching things in a rational manner. This though sometimes makes people feel like he is distant, like he isn't invested when the opposite is true. He is also somewhat quiet not making a lot of public appearances, as he prefers to stay home with his family and work. He is very patriotic of his nation and people seeing himself very much as a father of Vandario trying to guide it, and do what is best, due to his deep love for his land. He is a veteran having served in south western Oritan before being leader in his mid 20s then, serving under distinguished and now Head of Military Ingrid Stormvind. He has a wife and 3 children, a daughter and two sons who he loves and is close to, often spending time with them when he can.

Our leader is President Distel Neos, aged 25. Why so young? well, a bit of history. In the wars with Untaroicht, the previous leader was killed, and as per the "wheel of fortune" law, a new president was selected from a random assortment of dossiers a council of political veterans decided would be appropriate. A random number was generated, and she was selected, aged only 23. The wars put a great deal of stress on her, despite having top of the class from Minokos University, her actual experience was near zero.

As time wore on and the wars eventually ended, she had acquired several cybernetic augmentations, as well as drug habits, frequently taking cannabis, MDMA and LSD...the ensuing...ahem...mood changes from this have become a national injoke. She stand at 5'11, weighing 70Kg with a fairly slender figure. Her personality is calm and softspoken, hiding a significantly more willful core. Much to the love of the tabloid media, the drug habits have caused a number of amusing incidents in which a clearly inebriated Neos came out with a ludicrous quote for all to hear.

Crylante does not have one leader, but a council of seven, although there are two that are more likely to be known by outside powers: Director for Finance, Liana Vescovi due to her being the ceremonial head of the council as a "first among equals" role, and Director for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Jenný Anadottir.

Liana Vescovi is a 37-year-old woman from the island state of Badessa. Growing up in a middle-class family as the daughter of two bankers, she studied economics at the University of Lillehavn. Politically, she is a centre-right liberal, following the Crylantian ideological tradition of LaBlancism, although it is known she focuses more on economic issues, where she supports a more ordoliberal model instead of the social democracy practiced currently. Although with no prior experience, he was an active member of the MIV (the non-affiliated youth group in Vesilenia) and is a member of the Youth Legislative Commission (elected by vote of the students in the National Educational Institute in Sanktfilo). When the Congresses began entertaining audiences for 7 working days in 2015, Vasuelov took center-stage and began showing both his legal prowess and his concern for the nation's economy and began attacking the partisanship of the Commission and Assembly. He formed the Partia Radikal in 2015 to campaign for "a positive change" and won enough seats to push a vote-of-no confidence, securing his term as KS.

At first glance, he is a quiet and reserved man, almost timid. But when you're able to begin a conversation with him, you'll see him blossom into a relatively talkative, passionate and fun-loving teenager. He is a fan of history, culture and philosophy, and in his apartment in the Barangay of Cavalete, you will see his collection of antiques, literature, firearms and oddities he has stockpiled in his decade and a half of being alive.
