What is the common regional government?

In the real world, the popular form of government appears to some type of republic from an executive form (which has a president independent of the legislature) to a ceremonial republic (where the ministry is subject to the power of the legislature). However, is this true on NS, or are there more types of governments such as monarchies, dictatorships, or Military dictatorships?

Technically, you can find any sort of government, it's NS! But for your answer, it's usually either: a) Republic/Democracy of some sort or b) Founder/Person in charge is ruler, what they say is law, sometimes appoint underlings to help manage. Olwe is a monarchy that most would probably call a dictatorship (due to the lack of any legislative branch, as well as the conspicuous lack of elections). But whether that dictatorship is benevolent depends on who you ask... most other countries where the executive branch enjoys this much power are far more corrupt and oppressive, while Olwe finds itself on the far liberal end of the dictatorship scale.

It's basically a socialist republic with a lot more democracy and with technocratic ideas added.

There is the Leader of Valgora, who is not elected; then there is the Prime Minister of Valgora who is selected then elected by the people. Both are considered the head of state and government as well as part of the executive and legislative branches.

In history, the Catholic Monastic Order is defined as this:
A form of government, whose head of state is either an archbishop, bishop or Grandmaster.
The state is centered on religious affairs, events and ceremonies; the government itself is a spiritualist Government that have tied themselves with the Pope.

Current Pope is Urbanus II, who issued the First Crusade.

To be more specified, this Templar govenment is a Catholic Militaristic Monastic Order,
Ruled by a Grandmaster. Current: Jacques de Molay.
He divides his powers to some Lord Knights of States, equivalent of Governors.
The legislature is the Knights Assembly, whose all Knights of the Order elects Head of State, Seneschal, Marshal and Grandmaster.
Directly below the Grandmaster is the Seneschal, who rules over Administration, Military and Border Control.
Equivalent to the Seneschal is the Marshal, who rules over Economy, Foreign Aid, International Rlations and Defense.
There also presents an Archbishop, an equivalent of the Grandmaster, whose job is to manage relations with the Pope and matters of Spirituality. It is he who takes control of the Capital, and all Religion matters.

There is some Crusader states in real history which used this form of Government: Knights Templar (Cyprus and Jerusalem), Knights Hospitaller (Aegea, Rhodes and Antioch), Teutonic Order(Prussia and the Baltics), Livonian Order(Riga and Lithuania).

Parliamentary democracies are very common in the Auzverse, usually they are constitutional monarchies, but Switzerland, Belarus, Russia, and San Marino are republics. The Auzverse Europe maintained monarchy but also found a new tradition in liberal democracy, and some countries are social democratic too.

The Auzkhian Empire and the Helvetic Confederation (Switzerland) are federal states with other European states being unitary, some countries such as Britain, France, Portugal, and Spain have autonomous regions and overseas territories.

Auzkhia, ideologically, is a social democracy, in which reformist policies are enacted to gradually adopt socialism within liberal democracy. Democratic socialists found the SPÖ to peacefully enact socialism unlike their radical comrades who wanted revolution. Conservatives, however, support social market capitalism. Nonetheless, our citizens have thrived under social democracy and see it as a peaceful way to a fair and equitable economy.

Semi-presidential: The President of Lancov is popularly elected, and they appoint a Premier who in turn appoints the Cabinet. Unlike a parliamentary republic the President plays an active role in the governance of the nation, especially in the area of foreign policy and defense. The President has certain reserve powers he can exercise as well after consulting the Executive Council.

Unitary: All laws are the same everywhere in the nation. Other than local ordinances, Counties and Municipalities cannot pass any statutes themselves. Counties do not share sovereignty like they do in a federation.

Representative democracy: The people elect representatives to the Assembly, who pass laws and supervise the activities of the government.

Unitary:
The central government has ultimate authority. Although local regions may have a degree of autonomy, the central government can unilaterally revoke it.

Non-hereditary:
The leadership is not passed on by familial inheritance. Starting with Phoenix Empress Helga, the leader gets to select her replacement.

Absolute monarchy:
The Phoenix Empress makes all the laws in the Empire, and she is not bound to obey any of them.

As far as it gets: East Asia is technically a dominant party federation of democratic republics. On the other hand, you could call it an oligarchy.

We don't have any form of regional government in our nation, as we are strictly a unitary state. Cities with over 100,000 people do, however, have Mayors, but that is the closest thing you will find to a provincial or county level of government.
