His message of National Populism was considered almost the inevitable result of the failures of the American establishment to resolve decades-long problems. His Nationalism is not considered particularly worrying or inherently immoral, though the termination of a program to provide citizenship to men serving the US Army was considered a betrayal of principles, particularly by the Iron Valour DCO.

They don't particularly trust him, but plan to work with him anyway, and have set up no obstacles to this, and not even issued any sort of formal denunciation for any of his actions.
