Is the head of state elected democratically? Yes.
Does the head of state hold executive authority? No.
Is the head of government elected democratically? Not elected, but subject to the confidence of an elected legislature.
Is the legislature elected democratically? Yes.
Is the legislature independent? Yes.
Are all hereditary titles abolished? Titles of nobility are abolished; there remain some hereditary offices of no political importance.
On a scale of 1-5, 1 being confederation of entirely sovereign entities and 5 being unitary state, how centralised is power in your nation? 3
Are all non-criminal adult citizens allowed to vote? Criminals are allowed to vote; those that are insane are not.
Does your nation have central banking? Yes.

Can citizens possess weapons indefinitely? No, in most cases.

Are all ‘victimless’ crimes completely legal? If a crime causes no public danger, and it is not in the public interest to prosecute, it will not be prosecuted.

Is the head of state elected democratically? Nominally, yes. In practice, there is yet to be an Emperor that would have actually been elected.
Does the head of state hold executive authority? Yes.
Is the head of government elected democratically? Nominally, yes. Since the head of government is also the monarch, it hasn't happened in practice yet.
Is the legislature elected democratically? Most of it is. The military and certain other powerful institutions that have seats on the General Assembly can appoint their representatives according to their internal procedures that are not necessarily democratic.
Is the legislature independent? No. The General Assembly also includes the executive members of the government.
Are all hereditary titles abolished? Yes. In a society of cyborgs, where the concept of family itself is largely obsolete, old-fashioned hereditary titles of nobility are obsolete as well.
On a scale of 1-5, 1 being confederation of entirely sovereign entities and 5 being unitary state, how centralised is power in your nation? 3.5 The Imperium would, of course, be more centralized were it possible technologically - efficiently communicating the vast amounts of information needed to effectively run an interstellar empire in a fully-centralized manner is all but impossible with the current technology level, though progress is being slowly made.
Are all non-criminal adult citizens allowed to vote? No. First of all, a "citizen" is, strictly speaking, only a Sidh who has completed at least 3 years of military service. These veterans are eligible for political rights. The rest of Sidhae are legally "civilians" and enjoy the same rights as full citizens, save for political ones.
Does your nation have central banking? Yes.

Can citizens possess weapons indefinitely? Yes. The overwhelming majority don't, however, out of a lack of pressing need.
Can citizens possess and use drugs indefinitely? No. Possession, distribution and use of narcotics is strictly forbidden, save for certain substances that do not technically qualify as intoxicating, but can be used recreationally for their other properties.
Is there complete separation of church and state? In principle yes, the Sidh society prides itself on being thoroughly secular and having rejected the obsolete superstitions of religion. Ironically, the personality cult of the Emperor has in itself become a sort of state quasi-religion somewhat.
Can citizens freely associate and do business, and refuse to do so, with whomever they desire? Assuming those "whomever" do not include known fugitives, subversives and traitors, sure.
Are all sexual acts between consenting adults legal? Yes. What is illegal is to bring it out of one's bedroom.
Are citizens ensured freedom of speech and complete freedom from censorship? Why, yes, we absolutely oppose censorship and support freedom of speech. What the citizens aren't ensured is freedom after speech or publication with seditious or unpatriotic content.
Can people enter and leave the nation’s territory indefinitely? In principle yes. We fail to see, however, why anyone would want to. Most of our neighbors are sworn enemies we've been at war with for centuries now, so them coming here for reasons other than to raid or spy is unlikely, and they are likewise not inclined to be very welcoming towards Sidhae either.
Do police require a warrant and probable cause? No warrant is required, but a probable cause ("orders from above" being the minimum acceptable form) is. While a security officer may detain or search a citizen purely on grounds of suspicion, the officer will face disciplinary action if no evidence of wrongdoing is found.
Are LGBT+ citizens, immigrants, ethnic minorities, and women ensured the same rights as other citizens? There are no "LGBT+ citizens", immigrants, ethnic minorities or anything else of that sort - there are only Sidhae, and everybody else, and every resident of the Imperium belongs to one of those groups.

The "Sidhae" group, further divided into civilians and full citizens, includes everybody that is augmented to certain specifications and professes belief in certain ideological tenets, i.e., is a Sidh. Asides from this division, there is no other within the Sidh race, and as far as the law or any other Sidh is concerned, a Sidh is a Sidh always and everywhere regardless of skin shade, sex or sexual preferences. They enjoy full protection of the law and are entitled to the benefits that the state provides to it's citizens.

The "everyone else" group consists of everybody that is not a Sidh. Their internal divisions are not recorded, for the Imperial authorities need not bother themselves with the internal differences of non-citizens, and this group has no legal rights whatsoever. They exist at the sufferance of their Sidh betters and are tolerated (if barely) until they become a nuisance. Someone who identifies himself as anything other than a Sidh by default belongs to this group, because that is simply not how true Sidhae think.
Are all ‘victimless’ crimes completely legal? No. If it is considered a crime, then it is called that way for a reason and merits punishment. Sidh law enforcement follows the "broken window theory" - letting even small infractions like vandalism slide will embolden lawbreakers to commit more serious trespasses.
Is private property legal? To a degree. In principle a Sidh owns what he procures, save for real estate which always remains state property conceded to his exclusive use. Misused or neglected property can be confiscated at state authority discretion.
Freedom doesn't mean being able to do as one please, but rather not to do as one doesn't please.

A fool sees religion as the truth. A smart man sees religion as a lie. A ruler sees religion as a useful tool.

The more God in one's mouth, the less in one's heart.

Is the head of state elected democratically? No, the Crown is not elected. Twelve successors of the same species are chosen by each species' head of state, and then those twelve are decided by lot.

Does the head of state hold executive authority? Yes, the Crown has ultimate veto power and various degrees of control over the branches of government.

Is the head of government elected democratically? The head of state is the head of government. See above.

Is the legislature elected democratically? Yes, by universal suffrage, except its Speaker, who is appointed and doubles as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. (Congress is currently dissolved.) The judiciary is also elected, but the Chief Justice of the Supreme General Court, and the entire Grand Alcoholic Tribunal, is appointed.

Is the legislature independent? Completely so, and Senators are protected from prosecution for engaging in their duties (etc.). The judiciary is also completely independent, subject only to Recall and elections every twelve years.

Are all hereditary titles abolished? No. Currently, no heriditary titles/peerage offices exist, with power or without, but they are lawful to be created and be handed out.

On a scale of 1-5, 1 being confederation of entirely sovereign entities and 5 being unitary state, how centralised is power in your nation? Four.

Are all non-criminal adult citizens allowed to vote? Yes.

Does your nation have central banking? No: it is prohibited by the Constitution.

Can citizens possess weapons indefinitely? Yes, all guns and weapons that can exercise discernment are part of the guarenteed right to keep and bear arms. However, bombs, explosives, armed tanks, WMDs, and the like are prohibited (but warships and non-explosive cannons aren't).

Can citizens possess and use drugs indefinitely? Never. TurtleShroom enforces the Prohibition on all non-pharmaceutical drugs except caffiene.

Is there complete separation of church and state? Technically, no. The Southern Baptist denomination of TurtleShroom collectively receives ten percent of the state budget to divide amongst itself and share with other Christians, with the explicit intent of using it for welfare. However, this is all the state does in terms of meddling with religion. Everything else is untouched, and almost all other religions are guarenteed full freedom and tax exemption.

Can citizens freely associate and do business, and refuse to do so, with whomever they desire? Yes.

Are all sexual acts between consenting adults legal? No. Fornication, sodomy, adultery, incest, beastiality, and all sex that is not within wedlock between the opposite sex is illegal. Likewise, sadomasochism and other such things are illegal, and so is pornography outside of medical and historical context. All forms of incest and beastiality are punished by death.

Are citizens ensured freedom of speech and complete freedom from censorship? Citizens may criticize, challenge, and question the government at their leisure and can never be prosecuted for it. The concept of hate speech does not exist in TS. The few restrictions on speech coincide with other laws, but by and large, TurtleShroom considers freedom to criticize the state and others, and the freedom of thought to be paramount. Censorship in TurtleShroom is only used to remove immorality (cursing, swearing, etc.) from the media, and NEVER to remove controversial or political subjects.

Can people enter and leave the nation’s territory indefinitely? Yes, unless they are fugitives or prohibited from exit by court order, usually because they are fugitives.

Do police require a warrant and probable cause? Warrants are ceremonial and issued by the "bureaucrat-judges" (entry-level cubicle desk jockeys, usually teenaged) at the request of the police. The Federal Bureaucracy Board (an executive agency) issues all warrants.

Are LGBT+ citizens, immigrants, ethnic minorities, and women ensured the same rights as other citizens? Yes to immigrants, yes to ethnic minorities, yes to women. Sodomites and other humans with divergent sexual preferences are only punished when they commit actual deeds. Simply being attracted to the same sex as oneself, or admitting it publically, is not illegal. Sodomy and other homosexual acts, however, are.

Are all ‘victimless’ crimes completely legal? No, and most of them aren't victimless.

Is private property legal? Absolutely, without restriction.

Is the head of state elected democratically? Yes, but not directly, as we have a parliamentary system.
Does the head of state hold executive authority? Technically yes, since the Prime Minister is both head of state and head of government, although them using their authority is officially only due to their position as head of government.
Is the head of government elected democratically? Yes, but not directly, as we have a parliamentary system.
Is the legislature elected democratically? Yes, elections for the legislature occur every four years and every six years. (Brief explanation - six year elections are National Elections that determine who will become the Prime Minister, as whichever party has the majority of seats will gain the office. Four year elections are similar to mid-term elections in the USA as they only determine the makeup of the legislature, but members of the legislature can only serve for three terms of four years)
Is the legislature independent? No, due to the parliamentary system. (Although the Prime Minister doesn't have a seat in our legislature, they are still part of the branch)
Are all hereditary titles abolished? Yes.
On a scale of 1-5, 1 being confederation of entirely sovereign entities and 5 being unitary state, how centralised is power in your nation? 4.5, we are predominantly unitary, but some powers are still delegated to our administrative divisions.
Are all non-criminal adult citizens allowed to vote? Yes, although citizens who will not be in Gandoor at the time of an election must submit an absentee ballot at least two weeks prior to the election. In addition, criminals may vote once they have been released from prison.
Does your nation have central banking? Yes

Can citizens possess weapons indefinitely? No, we have strict laws in regards to the ownership of firearms. Only pistols, hunting rifles, and shotguns may be owned by citizens and they must pass a safety test every five years as well as a background check and mental health test. They must also register with a firearms ownership organization and their firearms must be kept locked in a safe at the organization when not in use.
Can citizens possess and use drugs indefinitely? Partially, alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana are all legal. Other drugs are decriminalized.
Is there complete separation of church and state? Yes.
Can citizens freely associate and do business, and refuse to do so, with whomever they desire? As long as it doesn't interfere with anti-discrimination laws (which are on the basis of race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and country of origin)
Are all sexual acts between consenting adults legal? Yes.
Are citizens ensured freedom of speech and complete freedom from censorship? Yes
Can people enter and leave the nation’s territory indefinitely? Yes
Do police require a warrant and probable cause? Yes
Are LGBT+ citizens, immigrants, ethnic minorities, and women ensured the same rights as other citizens? Yes
Are all ‘victimless’ crimes completely legal? Technically yes, as many victimless crimes may still technically be crimes, they are not enforced.
Is private property legal? Yes.
