Capitol News: The Senate passed the Government's signature legislation on healthcare in a special session just before the Senate went on recess until February in a 76-44 vote. Notably, three Green senators voted against the party whip, which supported the legislation. However the House will still need to pass the Senate's bill. In the House version universal pharma care was included into the bill in order to win the support of the Social Democrats, however the Senate SDP did support the new legislation so it is unclear if the House SDP will support the legislation.

The porn magazine Bunny by founder Chad Wentworth will undergo a change in its content. "I'm not proud of it but times change. It was a very controversial choice for my company and my audience. Some will be angry however if you think about it, porn is available freely online and abundant. Teens just don't buy porn magazines for their fix. What will change about Bunny is that we will no longer show porn. Instead we want magazine to be PG 16, models will cover their private parts, but they will show a lot of skin and tease. Also we will have quality articles about politics and culture. It astonishes us that people are saying that magazines like Fads, Trends, and Bunny are more in depth articles than even the Dayward Times and compare to Burberry Times."

Bunny magazine was founded in the 1950's by Daniel Wentworth when times were more conservative back then. It led a revolution in cultural attitudes toward sex. "What's so funny is we basically pioneered the movement. But now movies and cable TV shows show so much sex we're not bringing anything new. " Chad says. The magazine has seen its subscription rose through the decades and was the front icon of explicit with adolescent males. The magazine currently sees a decline in sales but still thrives compared to more sexually explicit magazines like Cowgirl. Chad says, "People don't want to see extremely explicit stuff. Our magazine may have naked models in the past but we don't go to extremes. It don't know why people are like that. I think people's brains want balance. Tease, that's why people want to see a woman in a bra than naked woman because its unexpected." However, magazines like Gentlemen Monthly have been in tough competition. "Gentlemen monthly are like PG 13. We're seeing their sales rise and I think I know where the country is headed. This ain't the 1950's I know that, but we're gonna tone it down and focus on a clean but still sexy way with a focus on in depth thought provoking articles. You see the media report the news but you don't see the analysis. We'd like to do that."

Gentrification or Revitalization?

In Dayward, a occurring change is happening. In the south, hundreds of white peoples are moving each year and are buying houses from homeowners. The south has been known to be demographic of mainly Latinas, some Asians, few whites and rarely any Blacks. However the south is known to be poor and some are irked that upper and middle class whites are slowly buying up houses or renting them from Latinas.

"My family has been here for twenty years. I know Renaldos store that used to own the bakery it is no more. We now live next to a bunch of [expletive]. Where is the neighborhood that we know?" Says Carlos Marquez.

While gentrification is a problem to many residents, Dayward city councilman Joshua Thomas contests. "The neighborhoods are believed or not improved, crime rate of what used to be 24% dipped to 12%, the poverty rate descended from 27% to 14%. We have businesses propping up and the environment towards tourists. It's better even though the people are different."

While the neighborhood has businesses propping up and lowered crime, policy expert of university of Longor, Angel Saywet, said, "Latinas are poor. If they can't afford rent due to rising prices and lower wages, a shift happens. People move out and sell houses and they move to more affordable areas in the suburbs or rural places. It's definitely not good for Latinas living in the south but it's good for upper and middle class whites."

"I'm jus' a young lady whose wants to live in Dayward. We fond a place to shtay and golly sure is cheaps close to work. I jus' came from the southeast ofs the country. Back there wes used to handle the farms when 'twas little and nows I gots my educaters, I's beens working in the city for a ad firm." says Tawny Craunthers, a recent white immigrant. A noise is heard in Congress recently, Daniella Castaneda, a 42 year old liberal senator from the state of Vourpush is making waves. She was first elected to the Senate in 2012 and was reelected again in 2018 but she has surprisingly or luckily got relative fame, after rapping in front of the Congress against a conservative. "Some of us aren't so fortunate from their riches. Look at that, you haven't seen us wearing us stitches," referring to Senator Castenada's speech against conservative Senator Paul Schwartz's anti immigration bill. The video got viral and may have drew otherwise non very terms to politically pay attention and be aware.

During her freshman term, she voted for the bill to stop payday loan predatory practices, lower taxes on the poor, tax credits to low income earners to invests, a mandatory investment education, increasing the budget for the financial regulation commission, increased minimum wage, a wage ceiling, profit sharing for workers, a workers unemployment program that allows people unemployed for longer than a year to get temporarily hired by the federal government, tax credits for the poor, regulation on risky investment practices and fair and transparent credit reporting practices. She says she will focus on other things on her current term.

"I'm trying to focus on things I want to accomplish," she said, "President Teller has some differences with the party but even though I'm one of the most liberal of the party, we can get things done." So far the moderate conservative President and the liberal Congress has managed to pass a few bills but the majority of the bills the most liberal members of the liberal party has been blocked.

Farm Crops Not Yielding in the North

In the north region, several states are hit by bad crops. Oranges, nuts, strawberries, plain twins, and berries will be impacted likely causing higher prices and shortage. Why this Presidency Disappoints

President Teller elected just two years ago, rode on a swath of a coalition voters of conservatives, independents, and even a few moderate liberals. But the agenda tone he presented, and how he was governing so far disappoints. It's optimistic that he made passed the law with congress with tax cuts and cut regulations and bureaucracy but the scariest part is how just underwhelming his presidency seems to be turned out. There was no mention of budget cuts where our government size is slowly increasing each single day. No mention of reforming education where dollars are spent unneeded in areas. No plans to analyze and make simplify the tax code. No plans to deregulate the financial sector to create more growth. Even the tax bill passed just wasn't enough to help businesses owners and investors. Settling has always been the comfort of human behavior. But it proves to be erroneous and fatal. The economy continues to stagnate and unemployment numbers cast murky shadows over the country. Strength of the economy relies on freedom and empowerment, but the President has not been asserting his will in his agenda. It's too complacent in front of Congress. And a situation that the President definitely needs to step out of.

The state of education has been by statistics on appearance fine. College graduates are earning more than their previous generations and a clear correlation is that higher education earns more money. However not everything is equal. Some graduates are either non employed or underemployed. Recent graduates statistics show that minorities and traditionally students who were working class tend to have difficulty in earning income or obtained jobs. This isn't only the difficulty in education.

In the state of college professors, 78% are adjunct professors, professors hired non contractual basis and tend to earn way less than tenured professors. On a scale, adjuncts earn a median of $34,000 while minorities or young age adjuncts earn $21,000.Tenured professors earn a salary of $156,000 but the minorities earn $124,000. The disparity in departments is also startling. Engineer, math, and science departments have highest salaries, displaying that these median salaries earn from adjuncts and tenured are $48,000 and $216,00 respectively while those in the humanities and arts earn $19,000 and $63,000. Adjuncts tend to have difficulty getting the job security as the colleges have no obligation to keep them. No benefits are paid like health insurance and dental coverage. If it takes a masters degree to teach and how professors are viewed why are they paid so little. Not to mention the hours, one professor says how's he drives to three different campuses to teach four courses. "It drives me crazy but the money I never make enough."

Administration are a thing as well. Why is administrators paid more than the majority of professors? The median salary of administrators are paid $268,000 while college presidents are paid $1,393,000. Looking the data, the hiring numbers of professors have stagnated while the hiring of administrators has ascended 26% over the sat two decades. Meanwhile costs of college has gone up 112%. We spoke with several spokesman and administrators. "Administrators are necessary to keep oversight and maintain daily routines of the university. Sometimes we deal with outside and external pressures and events."

This is just a few things mentioned. Tuition, books, issues of getting to college and retention, study habits, teaching methods, networking, social environment and quality professors are all other possible issues. If we're to go and try to look solve the problem it is not easy. "I think if you look at the way how education is looked, it's at a capitalist model. Government to Use Airbus ACJ350

The National Government of the Meritocratic State of the Reasonable has announced that they will replace their aging aircraft (codenamed ReasonAir One or RN1) used for international travel, the Airbus-produced ACJ340-500, in favor of the ACJ350, citing decreased fuel costs and longer maximum range.

This comes off of recent moves by ReasonAir to replace their Airbus A340-500 and Boeing 777-200LR aircraft with Boeing 787-9, Airbus A350-900, and A350-1000 aircraft due to the improved fuel costs and range. Presently, these aircraft are used to fly to destinations around East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and various Pacific islands. As a result of developments from Australian flag carrier Qantas' Project Sunrise, ReasonAir plans to order upgraded A350-1000 planes, tentatively named the A350-1000ULR, for direct flights between Razon International Airport to Tokyo-Narita and Sydney, as well as possible seasonal flights to Honolulu, at roughly 15,588 km (9,686 mi) each in distance and 18-19 hours in length depending on wind and weather conditions. ReasonAir is expected to reduce its passenger capacity for these flights to roughly 300 from the maximum 370 in order to ensure that its range is met.

The ACJ350-900 has a range of 20,000 km (12,427 mi) with 25 seats, which is more than sufficient to accommodate any government officials that may use it. Newly inaugurated National Governor Matthew Farber applauded the idea, saying "The most important consideration for the Government when it decides on the appropriate aircraft for RN1 is that it could travel to any capital city in the world. While the ACJ340-500 is capable of doing so, because the aircraft has 4 engines, it uses more fuel than the ACJ350, which has 2 engines. We expect that it will be able to save on fuel expenses, which will allow that money to be spent on other endeavors."
