UniversalCommons Invests In Basic Research

The UniversalCommons has invested in basic research. There has been an expansion of the radio telescope array on the dark side of the moon. Also, Freedom Dome University has opened a new fusion research facility to make improvements in both fusion power and fusion rocket engines. On the Island of Torquemada, a new underground atom smashing facility has been opened to study the building blocks of matter.

Kai Commercial House sells new genetic ancestry kit.
Kai Commercial House has made public a new genetic ancestry kit which shows a persons tendencies for disease, intelligence, emotional stability, family places of origin, and physical characteristics. This can be entered into a national database online through the Greater Synopticon of Entirety. Says Billy Ohyes, Director of Research, the more we know about our people, the more we can help them understand where they come from, help them make choices about their inherent skills, and solve any genetic diseases or tendencies that may have a negative effect. The Ministry of Public Health has cleansed the data of personal information and is now doing a complete genetic study of our citizens. We hope to be able to ensure lifelong health and well being through this informationn.

Supplies of Helium 3 and Deuterium Grow as Shipments start coming in from Saturn, Jupiter, and Mercury.
The supply of Helium 3 and Deuterium as well as other gases and chemical have been steadily increasing. We now have a power surplus and the price is starting to drop for these elements. This makes space travel even cheaper as well as energy costs.

Freedom Dome has finished building a new Underground Ward.
Says Mayor Deborah Yaywow, "We simply have no room on the surface and people are getting upset at the massive towers going up. Most people don't want to live on a cloud nine tensegrity sphere. We have to go underground to live. It includes a new shopping district, new apartments, manufacturing center, greater synopticon of entirety center, underground parks, a deep farm, hyperloop service, walkways, and many other amenities."

Head of State Sonya Ruogang Yoon-Sook outside the Kremlin

State of Nusantara Secures Seaborne Iron Trade Route With Soviet Union Via Vladivostok
Bagumbayan
20 January 2019 14:20 NMST+ | Moscow, Soviet Union

NEO-SINGAPORE—State Soviet Joko Widodo of Nusantara has affirmed local industry that cheaper raw materials through a new diplomatic agenda negotiated by the central government will connect the archipelago with the Socialist superstate, the Soviet Union. In a Press Release earlier this afternoon, the state office and Moscow representative to the regional consulate, Olena Svyatoslavivna Dzyuba, announced mutual support for the brokered deal. With transportation costs slashed, overall manufacturing costs of ironwork commodities are expected to be brought down as well.

The signed treaty is part of the local initiative to recover from the economic mayhem that had caused an import-export deficit late last year. After securing the political support of the Congress of Soviets, as well as the economic backing of the State Planning and Development Commission, Mr. Widodo has gained new confidence that Nusantara's industry could get back on track in competing with its rival states in the span of a few months time. Federal officials have also affirmed this new market prediction, and are eager to see the region recover from its 'economic dark age'.

The Soviet Navy has also commented on the situation, guaranteeing a steady exchange between the two authorities; remarking an incident of raiding, such as the recent one near Cuba, would be 'humorously impossible' under the Iron Curtain of Soviet protectionism. Secretary-General Garrick has affirmed this on the part of the Pan-Asiatic States as well, citing the deal as a 'huge favor' on General-Secretary Putin's part.

The scheduled arrival of the first materials through this new route is projected to be at 7:00 tonight.

"Karma": Head of State Yoon-Sook Turns Her Back On American Government Shutdown
SAKDAL!
20 January 2019 14:59 NMST+ | Neo-Manila, Pan-Asiatic States

The Head of State has released her Anti-American sentiments once again after an address to the Congress of Soviets. The beginning of the government shutdown in the U.S has raised much quarrel about immigration and emigration, with, for the longest time, many Pan-Asiatic sympathizers in the U.S pleading for political action against the Trump administration over incidents of diplomatic aggression, such as the still relatively recent refusal to renew American compliance with the Parisian environmental accords. With the government on shut-down and many Americans on food stamps, these concerns have been brought to the Sixth Administration once again.

In her address, Yoon-Sook has described these incidents as a 'load of karma' and that direct retributive action would be nonsensical when the targeted nation was bound to collapse in on itself. Despite guaranteeing the Pan-Asiatic States' neutral stance on the intrinsic matters of the United States, the Head of State has still been vigilant of the issues. She has called upon the American workers to utilize the virtue of Juche self-reliance to stage a counter-strike on the refusal of pay of the American proletariat, citing "No pay, no work".

"Political retribution is a two-way street—if America were to swept by a heaping storm of revolutions tomorrow morning, neither would we be obligated to aid the surely [incumbent] government."

UniversalCommons Build Fortified Vault and Stockpile on the moon.

The UniversalCommons has built a fortified vault and stockpile for rare earth metals and rare gases on the moon. This vault is guarded by the space force. It has come to our attention that we have stockpiled more rare earth metals on earth than many countries. In case anything happens to our stockpiles on earth, we need to build a separate stockpile which is not as easy to get to. In addition, we need to keep our building materials in one place. The stockpile will include a metallurgical research laboratory to manufacture new alloys in space as well as come up with new ways to construct buildings and habitats in space.

Major Environmental Cleanup of Water Resources Commences
After the major cleanup of the giant plastic patch in the ocean a new initiative to reseed all the harbors with oysters has begun. This is to improve the water quality in the bays of most of our coastal cities.

Dynamic Motors PPC, Develops Direct Recycling to Manufacturing System
The Direct Recycling to Manufacturing System was first used on the lunar orbital orbital station above the northern icecap. This system allows the direct recycling of plastics and metals into new objects as soon as people are finished using them. For example, can take apart bioplastic containers and turn them into feedstock to make new bioplastic items. It is being incorporated into self replicating 3D printers allowing for greater flexibility in the manufacturing process.

Take the Flying City Tour on Your Next Vacation
Kai Commercial House, RFS has built a floating moving city. It is an ideal place to travel all around the UniversalCommons. Go from Torquemada Island to Scooby Island to the Freedom Dome and enjoy flying over the ocean in this cloud nine tensegrity structure. You can stroll on the walkways, visit the aeroponic gardens, and even take a look at the night sky with our onboard telescopes. Float above the cloud and enjoy a fantastic vacation. You can even book a permanent room and become a forever passenger. Come enjoy a stay on the Bubble City Express and fly above the clouds.

Tiny Houses Become a New Fad In UniversalCommons

Houses made out of shipping containers and tiny houses have become a fad in UniversalCommons. Tiny Houseboats are the newest thing. With just enough room for two people, these houses are just right for a starter home. Space is at a premium in the UniversalCommons. If you still want to live in the cities, you can get a small house in one of the new developments. If you can't afford to have a house in the city, you can always try living in a civilian submarine. It is only $100,000 for a mobile underwater living space, quite affordable compared to a container house. Living small is the new way to live.

Six troops die as Capriles declares war "finished"

Postby Avinaa » Tue Jan 22, 2019 6:26 pm

The National: Three days after President Capriles declared the war in Byzalia finished, and just two days before he leaves for a state visit to the region, four Avinaaian soldiers and two pro-government Byzalian troops were killed in a car bombing outside of a major military base by pro-theocratic forces. Five others were injured, and one seriously. President Capriles is facing increasing pressure from within his own Socialist Party to bring a speedy end to Avinaa's operations in Byzalia. Mary Ward, who has launched a serious bid for the Socialist Party nomination, has used anti-war feelings to build support for her long-shot bid.

The President's Office released a statement saying "the President has called the families of the servicemen who gave their lives for our great country and offered his condolences..." later continuing ..."The President looks forward to visiting our troops in the region and thanking them for their service." In total, 503 Avinaaian troops have died since the 2017 intervention, which President Capriles ordered after a theocratic government came to power in a coup and seized Avinaa's embassy. 7,500 troops remain in the country down from 80,000 when the intervention started.

UniversalCommons Finishes Construction of Kalpana One Settlement

The UniversalCommons has finished the construction of a Kalpana one style settlement at the Lagrange points. This settlement can hold 3500 people. It is smaller than the asteroid field settlment which is mainly commercial. It represents a step towards the permanent colonization of space. This settlement has drawn from the technology of the Lilypad floating city on earth and the first settlements in the asteroid fields. Further construction continues on a second settlement near earth.

This settlement is a giant step forward for all of mankind. It provides a stepping stone to the moon and asteroid fields. We hope with the development of paraterraforming, we will be able to settle and conquer space.

UniversalCommons Builds Farms on Titan

The UniversalCommons has built automated farms on Titan. These farms have grown to be much larger than the initial 50 people on Titan. Using organic material from the atmosphere and ground, scientists have been able to make soil capable of sustaining vegetables, fruits, rice, beans, and soy. There is enough of a harvest to supply 300 people currently. Enough to send supplies to Enceladus and Saturn. With more equipment, we should be able to expand these farms considerably. We should be receiving shipments of advanced lighting and farming equipment which will allow year round crops.

UniversalCommons Builds 3D Printed Homes

Using technology imported from the moon, Kai Commercial House has built cheap affordable 3D printed homes using a combination of advanced concrete, lightweight gene engineered bamboo, and aluminum steel alloy. These homes can be constructed in a single day, are affordable and easy to make. There are several different models incuding a houseboat model. This will solve some of our problems for housing.

The design includes some special features. The houses are airtight, well insulated, include built in solar panels, and self contained sewage and waste processing as well as recycling units for easy processing of garbage and waste water.

NEWS HEADLINES TODAY IN PAINISIA

National Chronicle

Mayor of Josperistad says he is innocent

The Mayor of Josperistad in the Province of Patonelisia, Mr Alvin Dunkens, has come under harsh scrutiny for allegedly transferring his savings to a bank account in a tax haven. This case is one of the latest in a series of local corruption cases. Many Mayors from seemingly idyllic small towns are enjoying their position, but the people certainly do not share their joy. The case of Mr Dunkens marks the end of of an era where Mayors enjoyed a high level of popularity despite their lavish lifestyle. "We can now see a trend. And that is people growing increasingly suspicious of politicians. It might well mark the end of Painisian`s romantic relationships with establishment officials", says Professor Martin from The University of Silvoplait.

The Distributist Bark

The Concordance and The Centre Party fighting over the farmers

Since the establishment of The Concordance, a political coalition now-turned-into a party, farmers are now becoming a political bait. The Concordance`s leader Veronica Muisvik made a marriage proposal to the agrarian farmers, saying that they were the life-blood of the Painisian Republic and that their party's manifesto clearly was aimed at farmers. Painisian farmers have beared the brunt of being Granderburg`s loyal servants. Many grew their suffice, but didn't get a decent pay for it. Gabriel Front, a farmer living in the rural step lands of Marcalons, has not been happy of how Granderburg has ruled Painisia. "Those urban nincompoops! They like to get an extravagant breakfast on their plates in a splendid Michelin-star cafe, but they clearly don't view us with generosity!", barks Mr Front. Homesteaders have also grown dissatisfied, as many celebrities from Granderburg have made offensive statements about homesteaders. "They call us crazy religious zealots! How generous of them!", complains an anonymous homesteader. In the hot summer of 2018, the farmers had enough after the Shibaist PM Enrick Letto wanted to slash government spending in the agricultural sector and instead invest in IT and encourage foreign investment in Painisia. Thousands, even millions, marched to Granderburg and wreaked havoc. They demanded Mr Letto to resign and Painisia was thrown into political crisis. Finally, in late June 2018, the left-wing Democrats of The Left pulled their support for the Shibaist government, and so ending majority support for them. President Seymour Maximilien appointed the respected University Professor Dr Mordekai Eftertstens as Prime Minister.

In order to ease political tensions, Mr Efterstens gave the agricultural ministry to the Centre Party. As a result of this, Both Dr Mordekai Efterstens and The Centre Party have enjoyed high-levels of support from rural Painisians. The Centre Party has managed to pass reforms with a populist nature to it. Increased pay for corn growers, increased compensation for losses caused by droughts, a promotion of agricultural activities to school curriculums and a "modern help" to the farmers (Loans given to farmers so they can buy the new equipment). Even with The Concordance showing their feathers, the farmers largely stick to the Centre Party. "They are our extended hand!", says the farmer Gabriel Front. And currently, The Centre Party has achieved 16% in the latest opinion poll, while The Concordance just 4.1%.

Signs of Brewing Border Conflict Stirred Between States of Siam and Nusantara
Nguoi Viet Daily News:
27 January 2019 17:54 NMST+ | Neo-Tokyo, Pan-Asiatic States

Earlier this month, Maha Vajiralongkorn, current cultural figurehead, King of Siam called-on sentiments to the Federal government for a cession of the Malaysian peninsula to the Siamese State. While the administration, officially, continues to condone this 'counterrevolutionary' activity, worrying support from Congressional delegates who have pledged their support for the Neo-Sakdalista movement has inspired more physical manifestations of their irredentism.

At 1400 Hours today, Siamese marchers calling-on the cession of Kangar crossed the border without warning or a permit. Malay-Nusantaran Border Patrol fired three warning shots until the crowd dispersed. Thankfully, none have been reported dead nor injured, however, Press Secretary for the Office of the State-Soviet of Siam has called this incident a national disgrace; blaming the 'reactionary' response of the State of Nusantara for the entire incident.

Protests in other cities near the Nusantaran border with Siam have also sprung-up, with at least 4 others related to irredentism occurring between January 4 and today's events. The delegates of the State of Nusantara to the State Congress of Soviets has now passed a paranoid proposal to enact a temporary interstate immigration ban on the State of Siam, fearing further escalation. The Head of State, in response, reminded both sides this afternoon in a press conference, to settle their differences more diplomatically.

Fear of the Neo-Sakdalista Movement growing in its other views has heightened due to the day's incident, and many ideologues have noted that this may be a dual-edged sword; with support for the movement meaning parallel support for the Federation's more militaristic policies to threaten the Imperialist West into diplomatic pacification. Some regard this as a cynical negative. Nonetheless, a radical shift in International Affairs may soon be on the rise, and many have speculated that the time will soon come to determine whether the Sixth Administration will align themselves for or against the movement; and with that allegiance, the fate of the nation itself.

Harsh Reaction to Mindanaoan Referendum To Pass Bangsamoro Organic Law
Bagumbayan
27 January 2019 13:11 NMST+ | Davao, Pan-Asiatic States

The Bangsamoro Organic Law, also known as Bangsamoro Basic Law and often referred to by the acronym "BOL" and "BBL" (Filipino: Batayang Batas para sa Rehiyong Awtonomo ng Bangsamoro), provides for the establishment of an autonomous elective and political entity known as the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, replacing the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM); in the Philippine Region of the Pan-Asiatic States

Legislative efforts for the establishment of a Bangsamoro autonomous region was first proposed and deliberated upon by the Philippine delegation to the State Congress of Soviets in 2013, but failed to pass into law. The issue was taken up once again in 2016. The legislation was de facto ratified by Congress as an 'Exclusive Locale Law' by the Philippine cell of the Asian Communist Party on July 23 and 24, 2018 respectively. The bill was finally signed into law by State-Soviet Maria Leonor "Leni" Gerona Robredo on July 26, 2018.

As an organic act, the Basic Law aims to abolish the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and provide for the basic structure of government for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, following the agreements set forth in the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro peace agreement signed between the Government of the Philippines and the terrorist Moro Islamic Liberation Front in 2014.

A plebiscite was held on January 21 (for ARMM areas) and will later be held on February 06 (for Cotabato and the 6 municipalities of Lanao del Norte, including areas who petitioned to join the Bangsamoro), creating the proposed Bangsamoro Autonomous Region and formally abolish the current Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

However, much resistance to the democratic process has been faced. Several adversaries in keeping order had failed to be met, with fringe groups, such as, allegedly, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, who continue to believe the law to be a racially exploitative puppet-law, attacking ballot-centers and raiding government offices. At least 6 terrorists have been killed, 2 wounded, and more than 26 arrested on the grounds of treason to the democracy of the Federation. One incident even involved government personnel local to the region, a stout believer in Islam, tearing-up the ballot of a female compatriot on religious grounds. The man has since been arrested and the Law ratified, along with many others, but many continue to question the stability and the state of democracy in the region.

While some call for heightened Gendarmerie presence, Federal officials believe this may only worsen the problem.

Dynamic Motors PPC Builds Solar Sails and Solar Power Satellites

Dynamic Motors PPC (Public Private Consortium Consortium) has built several solar power satellites. Some to help with the moon base and some to power high power chemical lasers to send solar sail cargo transports to Titan, Enceladus, Jupiter, Saturn, and the Asteroid Fields. The needs for power on earth and in space are expanding. We hope to expand our industry and colonization in space. To do that we need more of it.

Ambrioso Du's final public appearance before being put into solitary confinement, scheduled for execution

Crackdown On-Schedule: Audit Season Begins
Bagumbayan
31 January 2019 5:20 NMST+ | Neo-Manila, Pan-Asiatic States

As the previous year's budget closes with both resounding jovial tones for some, and humiliating dejection for others within the Congressional halls of the Federated People's Republic; the National Audio Office (NAO) begins its annual campaign to bring subversive elements overlooked by the system into the limelight, and hopefully, into justice.

While the General Appropriations Act Early Release Audit yielded no significant results earlier last years, signs of corruption had already made itself known from during after the original Congressional draft up until the agreement signed by the 4000-man assembly in December. According to Vice Secretary for Audit, Eoh Dong-Wook, the situation confronted by the Ministry can now be described as "picking up the breadcrumbs on Hansel & Gretel's trail". Many of the proponents from local government; town hall officials, Mayors, and prefectural officers alike, have placed both truthful and fallacious blame on Federal officials. NAO has declared that it will 'work tirelessly' until fringe personalities are struck, but will not tolerate raw libel either.

Insofar as major incidents are concerned, the Office reports two scandals already revealed to the public between December and today. The first of which being a two-month long unregistered shipment of falsely manifested supplies to a warehouse in Italy conducted by the prefectural central health official of the Ayeyarwady Region, Burma; later revealed to be a money-laundering scandal which had slipped through Federal eyes by bribing key bureaucratic officials. 13 arrests have been made, of which, Zeyar Yaza Linn Min, the agitating official; and 12 others, consisting of 4 'regular' members of NAO itself, and 9 prefectural officials. The captain-secretary of the line, Bo Kyaw, is also under investigation. It is estimated that at least 400,000 NP was smuggled out of the country, with only 2,000 NP having been recovered so far. Zeyar now faces execution, reported The Intermediate People's Court of Ayeyarwady yesterday evening.

The second instance had apparently been going on since 2015, known to the public only since two weeks ago; by Head of Government Fernando's appointed ambassador to Northern China, Ambrioso Du. Du, now described as a megalomaniac in hindsight, had fueled his own political agenda by misdirecting select transportations of hospital supplies throughout the region and 'coercing' them into unloading their cargo for his personal storage. The painkillers were both sold off the Black Market, and freely distributed to 'cooperative' State Officials. It is estimated that profits since 2015 have reached at least 4M NP through Du's intricate 'mafia-like' system of smuggling. While his companions remain under investigation, with the 40 different cases being charged on the 200 possible suspects involved with the entirety of the crime possibly being elevated to The Supreme People's Court on the grounds of varying crimes ranging from homicide to high treason, Du's own execution has already been scheduled for February 11, 2019.

UniversalCommons Uses Solar Power Satellites to Push Solar Sails to the Edge of the Solar System to Map the Oort Cloud

The Space Studies Institute are sending solar sails with miniaturized sensors to the edge of the solar system. These solar sails will be pushed by beamed power into the oort cloud. There they will map comets, check for planetoids, and other asteroid materials and map a path where a future ship might leave the solar system for deep space.

Dynamic Motors PPC has built self replicating Factories for Deep Ocean Exploration

Dyanmic Motors, PPC Public Private Consortium has built deep ocean factories for Deep Ocean Exploration. This represents a transfer of technology from space where self replicating solar fields are being built as well as self replicating housing tracts are built on the moon by robots. This has been transferred to mining operations in the asteroid fields as well.

"These factories will open the sea for research and living, much as they have started to open space", says Deek Ohyes, Director of Outreach for Dynamic Motors, PPC.

The navy has accepted the Patrol boats classe P90: P91 Medes and P92 Formigues. The State owned Drassanes Àlfacs in la Ràpita has delivered 2 patrol boats for the navy and there are 2 more in production for the navy and 2 more for export customers.
They will serve in a series of support tasks: Surveillance of the EEZ, training, illegal fishing control, search and rescue, and fight against trafficking and pollution. For its missions, the ship has a crew of 15 and can take about 18 passengers aboard. Two RHIB, one 9 m in length and one 7.5 m, are placed at the back of the OPV. The ship built in a steal hull and an aluminium bridge also features a panoramic (360°) bridge and CAE mission suits that can add modular mission modules.

It's regular armament are 2 RCWs armed each with an M2 machinegun, but it can be increased with at least 2 GPMGs. Those patrol boats have a lenght of 55,5m and a displacement of 570 tonnes and can be used in brown water envirovements the only require their lenght to turn. -they can survive level 7 rought sea their max speed is 24 knots and their cruise speed is 15 knots. the have an endurance of 4500 NM at 15 12 knots and stay at sea for 3 weeks.

Ming Protectorate Accuses UniversalCommons of Stealing Railgun Technology

In a recent spat on the border of UniversalCommons, the Ming Protectorate has accused the UniversalCommons of stealing advanced railgun technology from naval ships. They claim that the new designs for UniversalCommons railgun shore batteries are too close to the design of their guns.

In response, Supreme Strategos Ralk says, "We design our own weapon systems, the UniversalCommons railguns outrange the Ming Protectorate ships by a factor of three. This is a false accusation."

Congress of Soviets Votes Nay For Repeal GA#418 “Safeguarding Nuclear Materials”
Yinchuan Rose
03 February 2019 7:22 NMST+ | Yinchuan, Pan-Asiatic States

NEO-MANILA—The Congress of Soviets, acting with a majority resolution of 2240 - 1760, decreed in a Press Release at 7:00 this morning, that the Federation has, with the will of a democratic people's referendum, decided to act in defiance of the at-vote World Assembly, General Assembly proposal to end the enacted laws concerning the armament of nuclear weapons, as stated in General Assembly Resolution #418.

Primarily brought to the table by Opposition Leader, Congresswoman Huo Shui of the Golmud Region, reasons detailing the lashback include the faith of the legislature in the Nuclear Energy Safety Commission, whose backing is solidified by increased investments by the State Development and Planning Commission towards what they are calling 'peacekeeping through quasilegislative action'; and believing in the same credence of safeguarding nuclear 'defensive protocols' in-place on the Western edge of the Pacific Ocean.

The SDPC's agenda to increase Federal funding towards the volunteer committees set-up by the GA has been successful so far, and many of the yields harvested have, insofar as recently, increased Asian reliance on international democracy. The benefits of communal space programs and medical tourism missions have given the World Assembly enough prestige to earn the support of funding this new 'Safety Commission'. The Federation has always valued the existence of WMDs as a barrier for oppressed nations to be able to stand-up against elements of Neo-Imperialism, and the existence of such a commission would surely strengthen this worldwide agenda.

Critiques of the Sixth Administration's national value towards nuclear armament, such as 82-year-old Pacific War survivor, Huang Aleksander, have pointed out that these actions are merely an ironic facade to showcase the Federation's 'peaceful will', considering that before the Israeli-Asiatic War, the Federation had voted to embargo the Zionist State on the grounds of possessing nuclear technology.

Mr. Huang's sentiments had not gone unnoticed, especially with the Pan-Asiatic States allegedly 'lining' the coast of Melanesia with WMDs facing the Western hemisphere; which for many, only confirms Huang's words in an interview earlier this week:

"The Pan-Asiatic States is a two-faced democracy, indecisive and reactionary. These are, unfortunately, the consequences of our so-called 'beloved' ochlocracy."

Gene Therapy Process for Long Duration Space Flight Being Tested

A new regimen of gene therapy is being developed. This includes hardening against radiation, increased bone density, improved eyes, and greater muscle density.

Says the Space Studies Institute we hope to make it so that people's genetic structure does not change after only a year in space.

A topography of the Kingdom of Jaragupta

Jaraguptan Miner Flees Imperial Regime For Pan-Asiatic States
Bagumbayan
5 February 2019 21:05 NMST+ | Neo-Manila, Pan-Asiatic States

THE KINGDOM OF JARAGUPTA—A resource-rich yet impoverished island-nation in the Northeast Wishton Sea, the country, a minor player in world history, was brought into the limelight of the (Pan-Asiatic) State Congress of Soviets earlier today after a daring appeal by one of Jaragupta's own working-class; now a Pan-Asiatic refugee and a whistleblower against his own government, 39-year-old contractual miner Esharveer Mahil.

Esharveer was reportedly found by tropic villagers unconscious on a dinghy off the coast of Melanesia, dehydrated and sick. The locals, after bringing him to a local hospital, were soon to determine that the man was not Asian, nor from around the territories of the Pan-Asiatic States, and was taken into custody and questioning by the Ministry of State and Public Security, in accordance to the strict anti-immigration and anti-emigration policies of the Federation.

However, the shocking truth would soon be unveiled to the authorities after he iterated his gruesome narrative, later passed-on in an interview by Melanesian State-Media newspaper company, The Dili. Accusing the Jaraguptan Government of allowing severe human rights violations, Esharveer states that he was first coerced into working for a royal-held mining corporation when, as one of the countless job-desperate citizens of the Kingdom, he signed-up for the local tripartite employment board; after which he was transported to the rural island of Savaal, and forced into what can only be considered as modern slave-labor as a miner.

With the Shahi Rhakavali, the Kingdom's Royal Guard, personally patrolling the islandlet for the corporal holding, workers were subjected to 19-hour labor, and were not permitted to leave until their 9-month contract had been fulfilled. Mr. Mahil was subject to Savaal to strip the local caves of guano, reportedly not even being supplied with the proper equipment on most days. On such occasions, he was expected to use his own hands.

A shipment of new workers from the capital gave him opportunity to escape, allegedly by sneaking into the cargo hold. He was later nearly caught, but managed to escape on the ship's liferaft, a small wooden dinghy. Losing count of how many days it took to Melanesia, he approximates it to be more than two weeks; living-off occasional raw fish.

His case was brought-up in an appeal to the Congress of Soviets today, where he was quoted saying:

"The people of Jaragupta are slaves in their [own] homeland, is the world to standby and watch?... I am here because of those who cannot be, who remain with mouths shut and hands bleeding."

Prime Minister Karam Anagatya of the Jaraguptan Government has officially questioned the truth and motives behind the alibi of Esharveer Mahil, calling it "dramatic showbusiness". However, the story has already triggered a call for justice within the internal political affairs of the Kingdom itself. Both the Hamikh Nationalist Liberation Army (HNLA), the Sikh Nationalist rebel faction, and the vocally Marxist, anti-government Hamikh Democratic Liberation Front (HDLF) have shown empathy; considering the case not only to be an exposé, but one of many, thus instead, a sign that the civil conflict in the country should be escalated with the aid of higher extranational bodies.

Whether the story holds true or not, talks within the Sixth Administration and the State Congress of Soviets have already commenced on determining the next best cause of action, with many believing the case should be brought to the recently-formed allied coalition, the International Socialist Congress.

It has become evident, above all else and if anything, that the affairs of the Kingdom may not go unpunished under the eyes of Father Asia.

Domestic Transportation Discount For Students Standardized Nationwide
The Voice of Nusantara
4 February 2019 6:32 NMST+ | Neo-Manila, Pan-Asiatic States

In a Press Release today, the Congress of Soviets ratified a Federal Act, "Nationalization of Student Transportation Incentives Act", to nationalize the practice of giving student discounts for domestic utility vehicles, such as trains, buses, and even planes. With a victorious referendum placed 3640 - 360, the proposal by the prefectural representatives of Chongqing was met with little resistance; those of which who did have been bashed as "#BudgetConservatives" by social media.

The practice had already been put into place in select states by the SDPC as local policy operating under the juridstriction of the State-President and his/her economic committees. Now that the practice has become standard, with discounted fees ranging depending on a newly-released taxation manual that takes into consideration quality and capacity of the public vehicle, many students feel that their academic life can finally breathe easier.
