Pavelania will officially enter the fight against ISIS. Because of some upgrades the Navy wants to add to their LHD/LHC carrier before the deployment, such as adding drone operating stations, the Navy said the LHD Carrier will be deployed in 2018 after the upgrades are complete and after the Navy receives their MQ-1 Predator XP drones. Until then, the Navy will deploy their 2 destroyers ahead of schedule to the Mediterranean. Both Destroyers will be packed full of Tomahawk Cruise Missiles, have at least 1 UH-1N Huey utility chopper, and 3 RQ-2 Pioneer recon drones. Along with this deployment, the Air Force will began Operation: High Sierra, a reconnaissance operation that will include the Air Force flying their RB-57F Canberra spy planes over Syria and Iraq in ISIS territory gathering intel on their positions and bases. Then the Air Force will relay the info gathered from their spy planes to the Navy for them to coordinate cruise missile strikes. Both branches are eager to began striking ISIS, especially after the recent ISIS terror attacks. This will be Pavelania's first international military deployment in 25 years.
"Pavelania has had enough of standing on the sidelines, watching ISIS and other barbaric Islamic-groups conduct terrorist attacks especially in the UK where their politicians don't give a darn about ISIS and allow the attacks to happen and defend Islam when the attacks are all clearly Islam related. Pavelania is stepping in and we will be collaborating primarily with Russia, Syria, Israel, and US-led forces."

As many know, in the Pavelanian Military, the M1911 is the standard sidearm for all troops. But if a soldier doesn't like the default firearms given, they have a choice of other firearms they could choose from. For pistols, a soldier could pick between the M9 or Glock G17 as their sidearm if they dislike the M1911. However the military has recently floated the idea of dropping the M9 out of service in favor of more modern M1911 models, which has been Pavelania's standard sidearm of choice for over 100 years! The service favors the M1911's stopping power over the M9's bigger magazine. So far the military is suggesting to poll soldiers on whether to ditch the M9. However more than likely the National Police and Pavelania Civillian Defense Force will retain the M9.

PAF Makes Shocking Move on F-03 and F/A-18 Replacement

The PAF lately has been trying to decide on what would replace their aging F-03A/B Leopard and F/A-18C/D Hornet strike aircraft in the near future. The PAF announces that they will be looking toward replacing the F/A-18C/D with Boeing's upgraded F-15SE Silent Eagle that is currently on order by the PAF. However, what is shocking is that they are also replacing their F-03's with the Silent Eagle as well. It's a shocker and also sort of a back stab to PAC since PAC was already planning on creating an air superiority/strike fighter to replace the Hornet and Leopard. However PAC is still developing at least one future 5th gen-ish fighter that they aim for export, which would be called the Viper. As of right now, PAC isn't producing any fighter jets and the Fisker line of jet's, Pavelania's first domestically designed and produced jet, will finally have the production wrapping up, especially since no international buyers have had any interest in their fighters, which is also what killed the production of the F-03 which ended in 2005 due to no export orders from other nations. However PAC still has the Mk.III upgrade program for the PAF's cargo and gunship aircraft. PAC is also still producing license-built Bell and Sikorsky helicopters, with mainly civillian customers. PAC is also helping WAI in Woodland on producing their first domestic fighter jet, the WF-1 Ocelot. PAF however has said to PAC that they should take advantage of this situation and continue research on stealth technology, because while this is currently disappointing, PAF has said that they want their next-gen bomber to be a stealth one and want it built by PAC. PAC can gain experience on working with stealth with the development of a stealth bomber, and can apply their knowledge for future 5th gen fighter jets they could produce for Pavelania. PAC has also announced that they will be getting back into general aviation starting with the restart of PAC's 1980/90's era Mallard twin bush plane (not the Grumman Amphibian) which was a huge success and was a mistake for PAC to cancel the Mallard's production considering how successful it was.

Early at 4:00 AM this morning, 2 Pavelanian Navy destroyer warships set out leaving Newport Naval Yard, destination: the Mediterranean Sea. The 2 destroyers will be participating in the war against ISIS and radical Islam in the Middle East region, bent on crushing ISIS. Both destroyers are fully loaded with Tomahawk Cruise Missiles, 3 RQ-2 Pioneer reconnaissance drones, and 1 UH-1N Huey utility helicopter. The destroyers were sent ahead of schedule when the LHD carrier chosen to be deployed ran into delays on minor upgrades that could delay the ship's deployment until early 2018. The Navy's destroyers will be gathering intel from the PAF conducting recon missions with their RB-57F and RC-135R spy planes over Syria and Iraq, primarily over ISIS territory. The PAF spy planes and the Navy destroyers will be collaborating primarily with Russian and Pro-Assad Syrian forces in the region against ISIS.
