You would belong to the majority, so there would be no problems.

There are human scum that don't worship the divine Catigula, our Lord and Saviour? Go figure.

Anyone who does not worship Catigula is boiled alive, then eaten by the high priests.

"If I said that I’m an Atheist in Mauropolis?"

Atheism, or the general disbelief in any deity or supernatural entity, is not a punishable offence within Mauropolis. The vast majority of Mauropolisians fall under the "irreligious" category in government censuses, meaning that to be an atheist, one would be in the majority. Atheism has never been punished or stigmatised in Mauropolis.

My nation is secular and I'm working on stamping out religion altogether. So, please, come and stay. :3

Since we're technically a theocracy, you would most likely be grabbed by the Custodes Sanctus for not believing in the Holy Light of the Emperor.

No one would care. Freedom of and from religion are important in Rosewald.

Nothing happens, the state of Ritterdorf is secular.

Like the two post before me, nothing happens. Cascadia has a freedom of religious policy so if you're an atheist in our country, no one would care about it.

You are free to be an atheist or follow one of the approved religions.

by Imperial Majapahit
If you announced that you are atheist while in Majapahit, the general populace will probably react somewhat negatively. Religiousness is considered a must within Majapahiti society, as the norm goes back hundreds or even thousands of years. Freedom of adherence to any religion is guaranteed in the Imperial constitution, but atheism is not. There's also a decent chance that your residence or hotel room will be visited one fine evening by a pair of friendly gentlemen from either the Imperial Security Bureau or the Social Affairs ministry. Just honestly answer each and every question they might ask you, offer them some tea, have a friendly discussion, etc. You'll be fine.

people would say "that's nice".

as long as you don't hate logic, or use any belief or lack of one as an excuse for doing so,
you would be part of a minority that is fully respected but mostly ignored.

you might be asked why you believe self aware beings who are neither physical nor imaginary couldn't exist.
but most of us realize that they own nothing to what people try to tell each other if they do.

mostly you would be greeted with shrugs and "so?"
like, is there some reason for making a point of this?

Atheism is considered normal within the World State, with belief in a deity being highly irregular cause for mental correction. Actually, to openly declare atheism would be seen as somewhat suspicious, and possibly indicative of actually being a theist.

Legally nothing would happen, but many within Rivienlander society would be cautious around you. The Catholic Church is a powerful force within the Grand Duchy, and many within the small nation are devout.

Legally speaking, nothing would happen to you. Freedom of religion and speech are two of the most deeply held beliefs all Cubo Rioans share. However, much of the population is religious, and many would try to unapologetically convert you to their belief system.

YOU'RE AN ATHEIST IN ORIENTIA?
If you declare yourself an atheist, the answers that will emerge will vary. If you claim that you are an atheist in the northern part of Orientia, most people consider it a matter that does not need to be cared for and most will leave and indifferent to you.

But if you say you're an atheist in the Eastern and Western region, you will be considered by peoples as something quite negative. Our own country does not have a definite law that atheists are prohibited, however, rather limited, especially in the eastern and western Orientia. If you're saying you're an atheist, most likely your house and resident will visited by few pastors and missionaries, or they just sending you an email. They will talk to you while drinking hot chocolate, and ask you some things. Just answer it and relax.

If you're want to be an atheist forever, and live in the cities like Felltonia, or Christchurch, better move to Naumea or Oraquate in the north. They didn't think of you like someone from another planet.

Nothing would happen. Religious freedom. ;)

Curio: 11% citizens of Marsoslavia are atheists and 3% are agnostics.
