Most Ozmen are very secular, though an overwhelming majority belong to a Muslim denomination. Therefore, while a large amount of Ozmen are de facto secular or atheist, they would likely still frown upon you distancing yourself from the religion. The reason is that Islam in Ozmenistan is more a culture/identity issue than one of actual faith, and renouncing Islam could be seen as renouncing Ozmen life and values.

That said, the Ozmen state is thoroughly laicist, and religion is banned from the political scene altogether, meaning that no official reprimand could be issued against you.
