The Abida News Co. was established in 2016 as a means of organizing all recent national news in a forum fashion for any interested nations to access. It covers economics, regional affairs, politics, international affairs, sports, etc. Stories will be uploaded on a daily to weekly basis.

Chaos has erupted in the Allied Federation of Nations today following the unwarranted banjection of Vichtander Representative from the region by controversial Secretary-General/WA Delegate Gotesbourg. Protests quickly followed after Abidawe requested a formal apology for this action and the removal of Vichtander Representative from the regional ban list. These protests grew to outcries for a special election for the office of Secretary-General and even for Gotesbourg to step down from his position.

Later that day after significant debate and senseless argument, Gotesbourg issued what appeared to be an announcement of his resignation. Though this was unnecessary as he was to be replaced by Abidawe at the next update due to his falling approval ratings and sheer number of endorsements. Though before he left he made sure to banject both Vichtander and Vichtander II in rapid succession.

The following morning, Gotesbourg was officially replaced as WA Delegate and Secretary-General, and established as the Deputy Secretary-General of the region. He then transparently attempted to depose Abidawe by establishing a puppet, Serty Gab (a clear infraction of the WA rules and regulations).

In sports today, FC Abidawe is preparing vigorously for the upcoming season. Player-Manager Thomas Bascom says:

"The boys are working diligently during this post-season to prep for what we all believe could be the best season of many of our careers. We've got some up and coming rookies that we have yet to reveal to the public who will be displaying their prowess early on in the pre-season. Of course the veterans like myself and Lionel Messi [the other Player-Manager] are also working hard to make this upcoming season one to remember."

Sir Thomas Bascom, President of Abidawe and Secretary-General of the Allied Federation of Nations has declared today the start of a Golden Age in the region. The beginning of a period of peace, prosperity, and growth in population all caused by the cooperation of the region as a whole. It is seen that from this Age, the region will flourish to become one of the largest in the world and improve to become one of the most inclusive and Democratic. The first goal is, of course, to be featured on The World page.
