Interesting Enough, despite the outward appearance of Gebeta, in the 1800s it was widespread that Vampires were real. Such stories evolved from the plains where Castle Volstien is located.
As such, during the 1940s, as part of the super soldier program, the idea was looked into, and revisited in the early 2000s coinciding with Coffin (Ironically named, but related to Aircraft)
Though, it is considered a myth now.

It's been rumoured that King Mordecai IX is a vampire; he has reigned for nearly 90 years and he is so frail and meek that the court is constantly terrified he might have died in his chair and no-one has noticed. Royalty in general is regarded as having ties to vampirism, mostly stemming from medieval accounts of kings and princes drinking blood to stay young.

The rumours are unsubstantiated but they're actually entirely true.

Vampires are part of our historical culture. *Romania is part of Jadwell* if we didn't exist, the simple idea of vampires wouldn't exist, and our famous 'Bren Castle' where 'Ioan the Impaler', Dracula himself, used to reside is a major economy booster in the Tourism Sector and what started the existence of these strange, mythical bloodsuckers as we know them in modern society.

We do have a vampire population in the territory of Vamperia, and they are treated well throughout the country.
Our leader is Cthulhu. He isn't democratically elected as Cthulhu is the lord our saviour but we do elect his adviser. The last election was 8 months ago when Dat Boi was elected. You can talk to them in our capital, and largest city, of Harram Bay.

Vampires of the Vampiric Republic of Fahshist Yuflijan

Vampires are very, very real here. Before the withdrawal from the Triple Power War, Fahshist Yuflijan was governed exclusively by the Vampire race. They still are the dominant race in politics, although other species (humans, werewolves, dhampirs) are getting more into politics.

Yuflija Vampires evolved somewhere around Eastern and South-Eastern Europe during and a little after the Ice Age. Gradually, most migrated East, eventually reaching the coast of East Asia, and boated to the Versilian isles from there.

Yuflija Vampires are immune to 'holy' items, but garlic is still an irritation to most. Sunlight only really affects our eyes, because they're better adjusted for night time. But in large amounts, sunlight and UV light can kill Vampires. Most things that can kill a human can kill us.
We can also turn humans into Vampires, although they're slightly weaker than pure-bred Vampires. Most of the time. Vampire fangs are like snake fangs, and are hollow, which allows Vampires to inject a special mixture of their saliva and blood into the victim, thus turning them into a Vampire.
Yuflijan is an FMT/PMT superstate located in a 1984-esque world ruled by Fascist vampires. This nation is Atheistic, majorly Vampiric, likes gaining resources and new tech. The year is currently 1985.

If you define a death sqaud as a group of paramilitary agents that summarily gun down people for certain actions without trial, TurtleShroom does maintain a death squad...

...for vampires, ghouls, demons, monsters, sorcerers, and things that go bump in the night.

For centuries, our people have grappled with the tyranny of the paranormal and the clutches of Satan, of Satan's minions, and of all sorts of evil beings.

Colliqually called the "Un-Death Squad", these elite soldiers are usually called in for the big emergencies, like, say, a zombie outbreak or a full-scale attack from any number of beasts, or a large frequency of them in one place. Normal police, soldiers, and even civilian militiamen can handle most of the paranormal on their own.

However, every October, as All Hallows' Eve approaches and the barrier between this world and other universes, spirit zones, and Hell itself come to their thinnest, paranormal activity increases to new heights, and so many dangerous threats- real and perceived -come to pass that the Un-Death Squad has to do its job. These elite squadrons are under plausible deniability. Vampires, demons, monsters, zombies, ghouls, ghosts, and anything that goes bump in the night that isn't a kid in costume will be shot on sight.

(We differentiate kids in costumes from the real deal with very expensive and intricate equipment that detects the paranormal. Emphasis on expensive.)

Witches and sorcerers, likewise, either surrender or get shot on sight. The witchcraft arrests are always the highest on Halloween, and with their powers enhanced, some sorcerers try and fight back. That's what we have death squads for the occult for in the first place.
(To prevent endangerment of citizens, it is illegal to dress as a witch, warlock, sorcerer, or wizard for Halloween.)

While the citizens play all night, TurtleShroom's government is up to its ears fighting paranormal activity and the constant nuisance of filthy pagans trying to take back their holiday. It's always the worst in October.

The Un-Death Squad's purpose is simple: gun down anything that looks like a creature of then night. If it's a vampire, if it's a ghoul or demon or monster or whatever, it's DEAD. Again. -and not coming back. Got it? Good.

There is a list of "banned costumes" to prevent citizens being shot on sight by anti-paranormal death squads. While all police officers, soldiers, and militiamen are ordered to shoot the paranormal on sight, death squads only exist on Halloween and the weeks leading up to it. The barrier between the worlds is at its weakest in October, namely Halloween. Christian tradition- not the Bible, mind you -hold that Satan is at his most powerful on Halloween night.

2% of Arctica-Aleutia's population is vampiric. They have the same rights as other citizens;in fact, one of the leading presidential candidates in the nation this year is a vampire. Several decades ago scientists in Arctica-Aleutia developed a pill that serves as a substitute for blood, which has helped their acceptance in society as they no longer need to "hunt" animals. Some still drink blood either because they prefer it or need to because of a medical condition, and donated blood meant for transfusions is made available for this.

We have lots of vampires, especially in the more hotter areas bordering inland rain forests and savannas. They're actually a pest problem because they come out of trees and caves to feed on the blood of cattle and chickens and are known to carry various diseases, so farmers sometimes smoke them out of their habitats and use nets in stockades.

Does your nation have a vampire population?
No; vampires are relegated to the annals of fiction literature and lore.

If so, how are they treated?
If we were to have vampires, treatment would depend on their behaviour - assault and homicide are serious crimes in Ventalia. Of course, if they were to obtain blood through voluntary means or by purchasing the blood of animals, there would be no social or legal problem integrating a blood-sucking population.

True vampirism does not exist in the Vrree Nations. However, there is a disease that has vampire-like symptoms, including anemia and photosensitivity, and can be spread by fluid exchange. Sufferers must avoid direct sunlight and consume an iron-rich diet, which in Vrree cuisine can and does include blood. Fortunately, the condition is curable.

While the concept of a "vampire" is fictional, the Imperial Dominion is home to an incredibly small population of legal immigrant Hemophages. The Alor government defines Hemophages as "sapient entities that subsist either partially (15% or more of nutritional needs) or entirely on blood." Any polity that the Imperial Dominion encounters that wishes to open up trade, travel, and/or military alliance negotiations is required to disclose any information regarding any Hemophage populations within their domains or major hemophagic entities/predators. Well, technically they have to disclose any major threat to sapient lifeforms but there's a subsection specifically for Hemophages and what type of creatures' blood they feed. Only Hemophages that don't feed on sapient beings or can make use of a synthetic substitute are allowed within the Imperial Dominion.

Overall, Hemophages are highly monitored in secret once they reach Imperial Space through the Office of Hemophagic Affairs, a sub-entity within the Directorate of Xeno Monitoring which keeps track of all sapients within the Empire that are not humans or an accepted human sub-species such as mages (all of which are considered human within Imperial Law). Besides keeping track of Hemophage visitors, travelers, traders, and residents, Hemophagic Affairs makes sure that they are made aware of appropriate locations to get the blood they need.

While the Imperial Dominion does not allow certain types of Hemophages within the Empire, significant action only occurs if the undesirable/deadly Hemophages feed on any other sapient beings within Imperial Space. In such a case, the Hemophage is summarily executed and significant trade sanctions are placed upon their polity of origin. Said polities are made aware of this policy if they contain any such beings so as to prepare and monitor their own emigration measures to the Imperial Dominion.

There are no vampires among the citizens of Free Rhenish States, however, there are some among immigrants and tourists that come to our glorious nation. Vampires generally avoid our nation, due to the frequent abductions (and execution) of vampires by the widespread Rhenish Secret Police, supported by the Rhenish Armed Forces (1). The Rhenish people generally view vampires as nothing but a myth.

Vampires remain fictional creatures in our universe.

Of course, if any were discovered, such vile degenerate abominations would be mercilessly purged in the name of the Emperor and shown to their proper places upon dissection tables.

Vampires do not exist.

They are, however, frequently used as monsters by writers on fantasy stories. Because they can be killed with sacred items and weapons, they are perfect to represent the weakness of evil and the power of faith.

Vampires are fictional creatures worshiped by foreigners who fail to understand the simple fact that what is dead remains dead.
