To use a comparison, where other LGBT identities are fully accepted, asexuality tends to be merely tolerated, and there are prevailing opinions among some Astrolinicans that asexuality is, variously, a myth, a mental illness, or some sort of defect. Legally speaking, of course, asexuals have the same protections as any other sexual minority, and so they are afforded an existence safe from physical harm, but culturally, there is improvement to be made.

Just less than half of the Devernite population is asexual, despite the animes that would lure in tons of teenagers otherwise. The reason for this is unknown, even to scientists. Some theories stem to genetics; others to the former Red-Nosed Eagle Republic's leader, Korona Mirakai (she was well known for her very alluring physique), which probably did lots of bad things.

In general, the law allows for the free practice of any gender or sex, including asexuals.
