Devernians have an immune system that can cope through a climate like Devernia's (it always rains.) Scientifically, the reason why we get sick more often is because of how cold the rain is, therefore weakening your immune system. This would mean that Devernians have a resistance to cold temperatures. It's also the reason why Devernians get easily sick during a hot summer day; it's because their immune systems aren't used to such weather.

Nortans are pretty ordinary people. Nortan eyesight is typically very good, with an average of 24/20 vision when compared to the rest of the world. Nortans also have very little body hair on the chest and abdomen, and thin hair on the arms and legs. Nortan facial and cranial hair is also typically rather thin though strong. Male pattern baldness is also uncommon, as are allergies, dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

The native and dominant race of the Eternal Empire are the Ephyral. They display unusual biological features and abilities compared to other races, but also weaknesses and issues that plague other races, but not to such the extent. The external quirks specifically have marked the Ephyral race as 'desirable' by others, who may seek to take Ephyral men to husband, women to wife, or any of them as slaves. The Ephyral themselves, instead of condemning the practise, desire their own people as slaves, as an Ephyral slave is by far the most expensive.

• Eyes ❖ The Ephyral display haunting eye colours, which appear even more unnatural when eye shadow and tint is added (primarily women). Colours known to manifest in the Ephyral race include; purple (ranging from light lilac to deep violet), red (often ruby in colour) and amber or gold. These eye colours serve no actual purpose, and the Ephyral are not noted to have particularly better or worse eye sight compared to other races, barring anomalies. It is possible for Ephyral to produce 'normal' eye colours, but they are usually more extreme than commonly found. Blues are usually icy, and greens are much brighter and deeper. Ephyral eyes are known to reflect light well in the dark, but as mentioned before, this does not appear to help or hinder night vision.

• Hair ❖ Hair is an indication of blood in Ephyra. A pureblood will usually have either snow white or jet black hair, with some allowances creeping in. Obtaining 'normal' hair colours such as brown, blonde and such are either the results of uncontrollable mutation or as evidence of mixed breeding earlier in the line. In families that have been proven to have pure blood, such occurances are always put down to mutation, such as House Kasarys producing two daughters, one with dark brown and the other with light blonde hair, as opposed to jet black and snow white. Other colours noted are deep crimson, which almost always come paired with deep green eyes.

• Skin ❖ Ephyral traditionally exhibit 'pale' skin. Though still affected by the heat of their land and naturally darkened by this, when compared to other native races, their skin colour is more akin to those displayed by northern Europeans. Because of the light skin colour despite the fierce sun and soaring temperatures, combined with the traditional practice of not wearing clothes as opposed to trying to protect the skin, resulting in very few cses of skin damage and thus skin cancer, it is believed the Ephyral have an innate resistance to all forms of heat, including the rays given by the sun, allowing them to engage in nudity as they desire without fear of damaging the skin cells and tissue.

• Reproduction ❖ Ephyral women have, on average, twice as many eggs as any other race, and release at a higher rate, resulting in many cases of non-identical twins and even triplets occurring. The reason for the increased number of eggs and rate of release is unknown. Further biological examination also suggests that the eggs of Ephyral women are much more resistant than other races, whilst the Ephyral male's seed is substantially stronger. Along with this, the Ephyral genes are almost all dominant, meaning that in single case mixed race breeding, the offspring between an Ephyral man and a foreign women, or an Ephyral woman and a foreign man will almost always be externally and internally Ephyral. This combination suggests some kind of reproductive supremacy. Mixed race breeding is taboo in Ephyra, with the only situations where men and women from foreign lands engage in sexual intercourse with Ephyral is due to sexual slavery, however the offspring of any such copulation would remain dominantly Ephyral. This appears to suggest some kind of defence mechanism for women who may be raped, ensuring that her reinforced eggs may not even be broken through by her attacker's seed, and if it does, the offspring remains Ephyral, and for men who are either raped by women, or engage in sexual relations with a foreign women (female sexual slavery is far more abundant than male), any offspring produced thus will again be Ephyral. The origin of this trait is completely unknown, and seems utterly contradictory to the next point.

• Female frailty vs male physicality ❖ On average, Ephyral women are physically the weakest in the world. Despite this, most women are forced into two years national service, but may be removed if they do not meet the physical necessities, so even though it is required, many are dropped after a month. The origin of this trait is believed to have been initially environmental, and later became genetic due to the abundance of it. In the High Empire (13,000 BCE - 100 BCE), women were forbidden from serving in the legions, and typically engaged in little physical exercise. Due to the pampered life style of your average Ephyral lady, with slaves to attend her, and a husband to manage her affairs alongside his own, many women went their entire lives without any strenuous activity barring sexual intercourse and childbirth. This is where the contradiction occurs. As stated, Ephyral women have a higher chance of bringing forth non-identical twins or even triplets, but combined with the frailty of their form, giving birth to twins could cause complications and health risks to the mother, whilst giving birth to triplets usually resulted in death. Even today, with Ephyral advanced medical science, a large amount of women continue to die in childbirth simply due to being physically inadequate. Schools today counter this by forcing girls to partake in physical exercise. Even after the event known as the Ruin, which literally destroyed the Empire, women were unable to gain much strength. When society was destroyed, instead of surviving on their own or banding together, women submitted to men, particularly warriors, who knew how to survive on their own and in small groups, and became even more oppressed in society than they already were. By comparison, Ephyral men are usually physically adept. This is due to the strenuous physical exercise schools enforce, combined with five years national service, and a genetic and environmental history of being warriors. In the High Empire, men might serve for three decades in the army, return, find a wife and breed. The child, if male, would typically inherit the father's genes, and if female, the mother's. The result are two extremities, with few individuals categorising middle ground. Most grown women today are physically weaker than their counterparts in other races, whilst most grown men can boast superior physical prowess. This has of course led to a misogynistic society where women are oppressed because they are in fact, biologically inferior to men.

Due to their lifesyle, their bodies adapted to many toxins, thus making them able to consume even crazy dishes, large amounts of drinks and even some recreationals with only slight consequences. And it's much easier for them to control themselves when drunk or high. Also, they have much less need for sleep.

They have both heat and cold resistances. Heat resistance is caused by hot tropical climate, cold resistance, because they put air conditioners in every building, and use them like crazy on low temp modes.

As for brains, Skyhookedians are somewhat smarter than average, but slightly insane, and tend to take risks easily or not to think about consequences. They are a bit of adrenaline junkies.

Vrree evolved on a planet with numerous natural hazards, including diseases, poisons, and predators. In response, Vrree have evolved a tough immune system, rapid healing, and faster nuerons giving them quick reflexes and learning abilities.

Vrree eyes have superior night vision, but inferior distance and colour vision. They have slitted pupils similar to felines, but the white of the eyeball is always visible. Heterochromia is very common, and is present in about half the population.

Vrree go into heat twice per Erwlu year (202 galactic standard days). These times are known as "hot season", a make up about a third of the (Erwlu) year taken together. During the "cool seasons" in between, Vrree have little or no interest in sex.

Vrree have digitigrade feet, meaning that normally only the ball and toes of the foot touch the ground, similar to the hind legs of canids and felines. The added leverage gives Vrree superior running and jumping ability. However, because less body weight is supported by the skeleton, Vrree cannot remain on their feet as long, or carry as heavy loads as plantigrade species.

Vrree usually give birth in litters of two or three. Single births are the exception rather than the norm. Single births and litters of four are about as common as twins in humans, litters of five as common as triplets, and so on.

Vrree can digest raw meat without any ill effect. Most Vrree prefer their meat cooked, or at least warm, but many will eat it raw due to convenience or preference.

Vrree are semi-carnivorous. They can digest plant foods, but they require so much protein that a vegetarian diet is impossible without synthetic nutrient supplements.

The natural Vrree lifespan is approximately 65 galactic standard years, but this has been gradually increasing thanks to advances in technology.

Novorossitov also has a much higher rate of blondes, blue/green-eyed, etc.. Most Novorossitovians are also very much prone to most diseases associated with the region, like Malaria.

As to colouration, skin colour is typically brown; extremes range from pale gold to almost coal black. Hair is most commonly straight, coarse, and black; brown and even blonde are known but rare. Eyes are typically brown, from coffee to gold; blue or green eyes are very rare.

Devernians are known to have a slightly more strengthened digestive system than usual; they don't get diarrhea, hemorrhoids, or similar symptoms when eating very spicy foods. The reason for this may have come from the native culture, which ate the spiciest peppers in the world (Perresson reapers), either for ritual or for, well, cuisine. Their digestive systems therefore naturally fitted into this diet, as the Perresson reaper was one of the only food that grew in the wild.

Devernians also have their own immune system that can cope through a climate like Devernia's (it always rains.) Dancerians are known to have the "Solin Spot" or the "Solin Streak". Basically, a different color of hair occurs naturally in a thin streak, or splotch, sometimes, it occurs on beards or other areas of hair being a different color. Thane Aceus (the current Monarch) is victim of this, as his beard is ruddy red while he has black hair, due to his aunts all having red hair. Sometimes this is also evident in the form of eye color, where one eye's green and the other is blue.

Dancerians are also capable of growing silvery-white hair, said individuals seem to grow their hair out faster, and lose it less, though such cases are uncommon.

Our people tend to have high alcohol tolerances and slightly larger and stronger than other nations. It is unclear if the later is due to genetics or our heavy emphasis on physical fitness.

The biggest "biological quirk" of our people is that they contain no biological parts whatsoever!

However, our draft animals, sometimes referred to as "humans," have many improvements over the baseline. We have a few other semi-sapient livestock species used for the same and similar purposes, but Human v. 5.3s make up the bulk of our draft animals. Here are some of the upgrades they have (compared to baseline, or v. 1.0) thanks to our Biological Research Division:

- They're smarter. When we arrived on Earth, humans were so dumb that we often found ourselves having to repeat simple orders in multiple ways just to be understood. One of the first things we did was double their intelligence, and later on, we tripled certain aspects of it.

- They're much more durable. We were amazed to find humans' bones getting broken just by having 50-pound rocks fall on them while mining, having them crash after getting 100 lashes, having them crash from overwork, and die or get severely damaged by other incidents that should have been physically minor. It took several rounds of genetic upgrades, but now, they don't stop functioning at the drop of a hat. They can also work constantly without becoming too physically worn down.

- Their metabolisms have been properly tuned. Now, they're far more efficient than they used to be. What Version 1.0 considered a near-famine level of food is too much for a 5.3.

- They don't have to sleep. We actually purchased this genetic upgrade from somewhere in order to save R&D time, though the name of the seller is lost to our archives. Upon reverse engineering it, we found that it allows different parts of the brain to shut down while the organism as a whole stays awake. These shutdowns don't all happen at the same time, and brain function is seamlessly shifted to the active areas. It's basically a more finely-tuned version of what some of Earth's sea creatures do naturally. Of course, we added this upgrade right away so that our slaves can work constantly.

- They're less social. We naturally don't like the herd mentality or the prioritization of "fitting in" as it is, and humans' extreme tendency to have these traits was also causing trouble at our work sites. We want to be able to move humans and other species around to various operations without them spending the next month standing around whining about how they miss somebody that was left behind instead of being properly productive. We also don't want them deciding to be disobedient or even do things in unauthorized ways because some "popular guy" says to. Changing their DNA to drop their mindless social grouping/popularity worship by 90% took care of most of the problems caused by human psychology.

- They're far more obedient. Humans v. 1.0 were always challenging our authority, trying to escape, making intentional "mistakes," working slowly, and otherwise being massive PITAs for their overseers and owners. We examined Earth's animals and found that the easiest ones to train were dogs. The relevant canine DNA was ported over to our livestock starting with v. 2.0.

- They're instinctively extremely loyal to the strongest sapient being in their immediate environment. Of course, the strongest in a slave's environment are always the Decepticons who command them. The DNA for this instinct was also ported from dogs, who naturally follow the Alpha of the group (we make sure that this is always one of us!) and who are also naturally extremely loyal to their owners.

- We've added so many code snippets from various animals, and that was created entirely in our labs, that our slaves are no longer "human" from a scientific standpoint. That is to say, they could not reproduce with a baseline human (even if they weren't coded to be sterile). Still, they look and act human enough that most still use this term for them.

- Beauty was not considered at all in the development of the Approved DNA Codec for the Human Species. Therefore, they're pretty ugly by the standards of most outside humans. They're short, stocky, and extremely muscular regardless of gender; and overall, they look somewhat like stereotypical imaginings of Neanderthals. Despite this, we remind readers of point #1: They are far more intelligent than baseliners, at least when it comes to understanding our orders on the first try.

- There aren't any races or ethnicities anymore. We produce only one type, which is an amalgamation of all of the DNA Code we have found suitable, and which lacks any Code that we believe to be unsuitable. There is also only one Version operational at any one time. Those from prior versions are upgraded to the newest one whenever an update comes out.

- Decepticon livestock is produced in cloning centers. Each clone is sterile so that, if they ever do manage to revolt, get away, or get stolen, they cannot form self-sustaining populations. This ensures that they cannot run rampant and infest our empire like they once infested Earth. Their populations will also die off if we stop making more, so any revolution is doomed to failure right from the start.

- Baseline humans (v. 1.0) - which we refer to as wild humans - still manage to exist, but only in small groups and in environments where it's very hard for us to go, such as deep forests or bayous. If any are foolish enough to come out of there, or dumb enough to clear enough ground for us to easily land, they are captured and sold to the mines at cut-rate prices. We used to think that these were functionally extinct due to their low numbers, but it turns out that they have a "species preservation" script running that causes them to have extreme fecundity when under populational pressure. Even with a 75% infant mortality rate, a group of three or four humans can become 100 in just a few generations. For this reason, wild humans are considered pests by our biologists.
