Queen Juliana I is supported in her role by the Council of Regents, which typically handles the day-to-day minutia of governance anyway. In the event that the Queen is incapacitated or unavailable, they have both the authority and capability to lead the country in her stead. The Council has indeed done this on numerous occasions historically, usually following the unexpected death of a monarch. The last such time they did this was when Juliana's father, James VI, passed away. Although Juliana was just old enough to accede to the throne, her inexperience and her own personal grief meant that the Council took a much more active role in leading the country than usual, until she was more accustomed to her duties. During such times, the Council has a mandate to maintain stability and the status quo. Most major decisions are undertaken by referenda anyway, besides during a crisis.

If the leader is unable to lead.....no one will care.
This is an anarchy, and the leader has very little power.

If the Supreme Leader is somehow unable to function in a leadership capacity, the Grand Curator/Curatrix is granted emergency powers to function in the same capacity as the Leader until the situation is normalised. The reverse is applied if the Grand Curator is incapacitated: the Supreme Leader will assume direct control of the National Peoples' Senate until either the incumbent GC can return to function or a new one assumes power.

If, somehow, both are put out of action simultaneously, the line of succession goes as follows: the Upper Senate, the Lower Senate, the Secretariat of Internal Affairs (the domestic intelligence services), the Committee of State Security (the foreign intelligence services) and the Military Council.

When the President is unable to lead, the Prime Minister takes over as Acting President (unless the President passes on) and the VP takes over the PM position.

Nothing bad will happen. Vice President or prime minister will replace him. Or secretary, if no one from the mentioned can.

If the Leader of GI-Land and King of Atlantis (or the President and King) is unable to lead the country temporarily, the queen or the crown-prince or -princess is taking the lead. If neither a wife nor a crown-prince/-princess is available, the Government including the Chancellor and the ministers are replacing him, as long as the President can't lead the country. If he dies and there is no queen/crown-prince/crown-princess or any other relative, who could replace him, there'll be an election of the president the latest one month after his death. In the meantime the Government takes the role as "President".

Traditionally, a Roderian President (or General Secretary previously) being unable to lead would result in people fighting to take their place. This is not the case with the current leader Wolfgang Reinhard, as he is too liked by the Roderian people to just be replaced.

In the Republic, if the President were to be unable to lead for a certain amount of time, the person next in line for the Chain of Command, the Vice President, would temporarily take control of the Republic, however they will not assume the role of President of the Republic if the President is not in any sort of fatal/dire condition/situation.

What if the President is temporarily unable to lead?

The Vice-President takes over.

However, if the current President is unable to lead for the rest of his tenure, the Vice-President becomes the President during the tenure of the previous.

As some of you know, the Vice-President takes over the Presidency after the previous President's tenure comes to an end.

For example: G-A's current President is Christian Wolff, whose tenure ends at the final day of 2017. The Vice-President, Oliver Fenwick, will become the President from the first day of 2018 until the last day of 2023. Let's say something happens with Wolff in 2016. Here's what happens: Fenwick will become the President in 2016, and has to leave at the end of 2017, and then be replaced by another politician, who will become the President from 2018 to 2023.

The the position of Minister Advisor and President does not get filled if the vacancy is only temporary. The Freneq Constitution provides that the Secretaries' positions shall be filled by a member of the respective Ministry Subcouncil in such a case, but does not say how. In practice, the sitting Secretary would have already designated a fill-in from among the Subcouncil, and the rest of the Subcouncil will either approve of it in case the vacancy takes place or name someone else among them to fill the place.

Under normal circumstances, if the Emperor was temporarily unable to fulfill his duty no direct impact should be noticed in the imperial organization. Every diplomatic issue would be handled by the Ministry of External Intelligence. Any sensible information that the Emperor has to review would be instead received by the Imperial Family.

However, in exceptional cases, such as a war or a situation of civil unrest, direct leadership should be taken by one of the Emperor's sons or a more qualified member of the Imperial Family.

The top ten members of Parliament temporarily run the nation until the President is able to do so again but otherwise everything run by the Parliament and courts would proceed as normal in the event of permanent inability early elections are put in place unless there is a crisis at the time then the military is called in to keep the nation from breaking into a chaotic mess while the crisis is resolved then elections shall be held
