Well, let's just say that an empire of cyborgs with plans of galactic conquest is a rather niche the thing that few outsiders can appreciate.

Humans dislike us for a much greater variety of reasons. The most obvious of them would be plain and simple envy - we are objectively much better than them, technologically, physically, intellectually, in terms of longevity, and obviously because they don't have such cool and flashy stuff like we do, such as city-sized planet-busting cathedral-ships and our very own god-empress. They also take offense at us for not treating them as equals, because, well, they aren't our equals, and we're not about to let them ruin the things we've built for ourselves with their unenlightened and barbarous ways. The long-haired pot-smoking queer-loving tree-hugger pinko hippie liberals dislike us for being rabidly-xenophobic flag-waving warmongering jingoists patriots. The biggest reason is that Adainia is, within the scope of the AD01 Universe, Earth's uncontested superpower. It has fairly significant portions of land throughout the world and outclasses every other nation by a fair extent in various ways. It's currently the only nation to claim land outside of Earth, with some of its territories as far as Jupiter's Europa. All of this has been done within a relatively short time, making the nation's accomplishments much more contrasting to times before the nation's existence.

Adainia holds a massive amount of power and influence over world politics, and it has often used this power for the benefit of both its allies and itself. Usually, this is done through more passive means with no blood spilt. It has, however, used warfare and covert operations to get things its way on occasion. Some see this as balancing out the world for the greater good of all, but many see it as blatant oppression by a nation that claims to be a beacon of freedom and democracy.
It could be compared to a certain North American country within real life.
In essence, the main reason people oppose Adainia is that, in most cases, Adainia has opposed them.
