Reasons why people oppose Olwe? Let’s see:
- We’re extremely interventionist, pisses off much of the international community.
- Most of our population are magic users, religious folks seem not to like that.
- Our government is militantly secular, which also rubs religious people the wrong way (is there a right way to rub celibate people?)
- Speaking of sex, we have way too much of it for most people’s liking. Puritans are enraged by Olwe’s existence.
- Anti-porn activists think we exploit and abuse women (strangely, they never complain about how we’re treating performers with male genitalia).
- Capitalists don’t like our mixed economy. We’re actually not fully socialist, but we’re socialist enough to draw criticism apparently.
- Anti-war activists think we’re imperialist warmongering scum. We admit to the warmongering part.
- Animal rights activists think we’re bad leftists for our staunchly meat-eating ways. I direct your attention to our national motto... nature, red in tooth and claw, is our commonwealth.
