The company has since then employed an eight-step battery check program to prevent further such “battery-enduced arson” incidents.

There have been ideas by other governments to create a “second UpdateNortain” that is more thought-out, organized, and less... illegal, but those have gone quiet.

Given that my nation is in the process of being invaded by its neighbors because of the insane tyranny of its recent monarch, and that he is also now fighting back against a coup within his own military, I would say that what other nations oppose about mine is the brutal autocracy of Lucian, who may or may not be a lawful sovereign, depending on your interpretation of our laws on the succession. They're unclear on this point, something that the foreign coalition and the government-in-exile, as well as the rebel leadership in the capital, all hope to change in the near future. Whatever legitimacy Lucian may or may not have had, he likely undercut it by brutally murdering his predecessor (and successor, as he was deposed by him in the past and returned to retake the throne by force), not bothering to arrest or try him, and dismembering his corpse to send parts of it to the heads of foreign lands, plus instituting a wide range of oppressive and tyrannical laws.
