In recent years, our nation had reduced significantly our defense budget and increased the spending on IT infrastructure and industry. Of course, we mostly now focused on Education and Industry, with the remaining being Law and Order, International Aid, Welfare, Spirituality, Public Healthcare, Social Policy, Public Transport, and Environment.

The main priorities of the Brandenbourgish government are healthcare and education as well as facilitating private sector growth at the same time.

Basic public healthcare is a free-of-charge universal right for all citizens and tax-paying foreigners who are legal residents. The public healthcare system is solely funded by taxes and public sector investments and the current government (in power since March 2015) is working to expand the scope of healthcare offered to its people even more.

Public education is also near-universal:
- Primary school (age 6 to 16) is universal and free-of-charge.
- High school expenses (age 16 and onwards) are 75 % publically funded while students pay a relatively small tuition fee that covers the remaining 25 % of the cost.
- Public colleges and universities (age 19 and onwards) are 50 % publically funded while students pay a tuition fee that covers the remaining 50 % of the cost.

The government is hoping to soon be able to make high schools completely free-of-charge, as is the case for primary schools, as well as reduce college and university tuition fees from 50 % to 25 % of the cost.
