Thank you for your application, you may be assured that I have studied it in full before drafting this reply. I'm afraid that I have certain concerns that must be addressed before the application can be accepted.

The amount and types of armament which you propose to bring into the country is quite unacceptable. It is not uncommon for nations which are close to Vionna-Frankenlisch to be granted special permissions to maintain heavier weaponry for their security teams, however, as Cassadia and Vionna-Frankenlisch have had very little past contact, it would fly in the face of all precedent if I were not to take issue with your request. There is not much that would require changing, luckily, I would require: the complete removal of tear gas from the complement, a number given for knives, pepper spray and batons, a complete inventory of ammunition and knowledge of which, particular, AR-15 series rifle will be employed.

I'm sure Mister Sherbarshin will make a most suitable ambassador. He is fully within his rights to carry a personal firearm as long as it remains concealed. I hope you will inform Mister Sherbarshin, however, that such measures are entirely unnecessary and assure him that Donaldia is a secure placement with a great deal of public safety.

Finally, I have to address your requests regarding the embassy site itself. All embassies in Donaldia are compound structures to allow for as much versatility in diplomatic corps as possible, however, enlargement of the courtyard and the construction of a chapel would take time and would need to be funded by the Holy Kingdom of Cassadia. You would, of course, be permitted to convert any of the embassy spaces into a rudimentary place of worship upon your arrival, if that is more acceptable.

We are very much appreciative of your response to our application and in turn, I have also studied your correspondence carefully. Your concerns on the part of Your Majesty's government are duly noted and we hope that our response to your requests for clarification are exhaustive in addressing everything which you have stated in your concerns concerns.

To address the first point of contention you have found in application - the amount and type of weaponry. The reason why we have requested a double quantity of firearms for our Embassy Security Team, is for the very specific reason of these instruments to be carried in a ''loadout'' by the ten member security detail of our embassy; with one type to be equipped as a ''primary'' while the second type of firearm, are to be applied in the role of a ''sidearm''. This is a standard security protocol for each and every Cassadian Foreign Mission abroad; to provide for each individual of the embassy guard detail, the most lethal and practical in terms of compactness, firepower that can be carried by a single individual.

Furthermore the individuals who are to be tapped for for the embassy guard are a part of the Royal Marine Guard Service, a special subsection of the Royal Department of Foreign Affairs whose mission it is to provide the security for our diplomatic corps as well as any sensitive material or electronic equipment that a proverbial Foreign Mission may house. Additionally, members that are recruited into this specialized agency are exclusively recruited from the Royal Marine Corp branch of the Armed Forced of Cassadia; both active, reservists and retired.

We can assure you with the highest degree of confidence that such an arsenal would be well handled by the ones who are to be entrusted with this powerful if modest arsenal. That is because each and every member of the Royal Marine Guard Service is trained and instructed in the highest standards of weapon safety, handling and marksmanship as well as overall proficiency with a wide variety of firearms. Additionally each member of this special-purpose Guard Service is required to command competent fluency in four ''primary'' foreign languages, those being English, French, German and Arabic and furthermore in the ''cultural sensitivities'' and customs of the country where a Guard Service member might be stationed in. Also included in the mandatory curriculum are training in crowd-control and civil deescalation strategies.

Onto the next contentious part of our application you have found an issue with; the justification for why we want such an arsenal, like everywhere else is the possibility of civil unrest, no matter how ''unlikely'' and ''safe'' the territory and city our Foreign Mission is located in, is. The other which is even greater, is the ever-potential attack from terroristic FSE-inspired (Foreign Subversive Element - see definition in our communique) or Designated Terrorist Organizations such as the DAESH-aligned Islamic Emirate of Brasilistan on our Foreign Missions. It is something we have had first-hand experience with as these malicious organizations have the resources to provide ''superforgery'' visas, travel documents and IDs to trusted individuals within their organizations, to travel almost unimpeded to other countries, and while in most cases that is for other purposes (recruitment, fund-raising, training, etc), our Diplomatic Corps have nevertheless made several attempts by members of these illegal groups on our overseas embassies.

And on the second point your government has found issue with, I can assure you that Mr. Sherbashin is fully aware of having to conceal-carry his personal weapon. As for the AR-15 platform assault rifle; the variant type of the weapon that is to be fielded is the Bushmaster M4A3.
