How friendly are YN's citizens

The biggest stereotype when it comes to Huswyaens is that we are friendly people, and the stereotype is absolutely true. Huswyaen people are the 2nd most friendliest in existence, and by far the most open minded! We tend to ship our closed minded, nasty people to other countries that want them or deserve them, and the Huswyaens in Huswyae are the most open minded of them all!

Customs officers are known to give hugs to people who arrive legally on national holidays, people move to Huswyae so they can be who they are without their home nation calling it "taboo" (commies know that Huswyae is probably not for them, so we can be open minded to immigrants), refugees have their house paid for by the government, and our culture basically means we give a shit ton of hugs.

Basically our people are friendlier than fluffy wuffy teddy bears.

They help if your are in difficulty, an at their home you are treated not as guest, but as part of own family. They are direct the are open and friendly, and not formal from the first appaerance...

All thanks from the multicultural culture of our nation, all the people are respectful of other people, and we live without problems

by Imperium Sidhicum
The Sidhae are pretty much the polar opposite of the people of Huswyae then. Outsiders generally know Sidhae to be cold, arrogant, blunt to the point of rudeness and very suspicious and reserved towards foreigners.

That's not to say all Sidhae outright hate foreigners. Most Sidhae have very little if any experience at dealing with foreigners, and the ones who do mostly know them only as armed enemies, so their suspicion around any outsiders is well-founded. Furthermore, most Sidhae simply don't know how to react to foreigners and their alien ways which are often strongly at odds with their own. Their deeply-entrenched belief in the supremacy of their race and ways doesn't help the matters either, and few if any Sidhae would want to change that in any case.

Conversely, should the average Sidh ever experience the horror of having to live in an unfamiliar culture outside the Imperium, there would hardly be a more quiet, reserved and humble person than him. Sidhae are keenly aware of the fact that their usual attitude isn't winning them any friends outside the Imperium, so a Sidh away from the familiar safety of his native society will do everything in his power to avoid attention from the locals, becoming a withdrawn recluse who will never initiate conversations, speak only when spoken to, keep any conversations very brief and to the point, and go to any lengths to avoid potentially-sensitive topics like religion or politics, up to the point of agreeing with everything the other speaker says just to end that line of discussion (and preferably the whole conversation) sooner.

In any case, Sidhae are for most part rather unsociable people outside their own ethnic group regardless of where they are. Those relatively few who interact with foreigners in other ways than through the sights of their energy rifles are more open and outgoing, having the training and the experience of dealing with outsiders, but they too prefer to maintain their distance at all times.

Nortons are not usually very friendly. We have a culture of being civil to others, but not of friendliness. We do not try to be friends with strangers, however we will smile at them and talk pleasantly.

Qasheeries is one of the friendliest citizens in the region as well worldwide. Although, our history doesn't say so. Our history involved with many wars, especially the last war between West and East which have killed over 150'000 people in total. However, since that war, people began developed friendliness in themselves and birth to even more friendly people for the future.

We still do fight and argue, but we doesn't take it into war.

Depending on the region you are in, the friendliness changes.

In the bustling cities, people want to get where there going and move through the world. They aren't known for being the most friendly people. They want what they want and want it now.

In the Great Northern Regions, outside of New England, people are noted for their street friendliness. All of which will wave and talk to total strangers on the street. However, don't be expecting an invite into a person's home while being a stranger.

In most of the Southern Regions, people still harbor feelings of the War of Unity. Most are known to be very introverted, but not entirely mean. Keep quiet and you'll be respected.

In the central regions, people are known for their total acceptance of anyone that comes across. If you're a tourist and not in a rush, say "Hello" or "Hola" and get a free dinner with the whole family.

by The Land of the Ephyral
The Ephyral people are highly xenophobic, mistrustful and somewhat arrogant.

They are blunt, but also cunning and manipulative. The majority of the populace support slavery. A minority support the enslavement of all non-Ephyral. A smaller minority support the extermination of all those deemed unfit for servitude.

In short. No. We're not very friendly at all.

Most of the population will want you in chains. Whether they mean to keep you as a slave or throw you in the sea varies.

Prussians aren't very nice at all if you are foreign, however so long you don't get involved in their business, they aren't nasty.

Very friendly.

In the course of a day of a tourist here on a one day day trip: they can expect to make any where from 10-40 new friends in that day, get pied 3 times, get soaked 4-5 times with water guns/water balloons, get convinced to take the cannonball transportation system at least one time by one of there more daredevil/adventurous friends, sit on a whoopee cushion 7-8 times and when it's time to go, say a tearful goodbye at the airport with one big group hug and tears.

And that was just for a one day tourist. Immigrants get the above but even more. As in the above times twelve. Without the goodbye of course.

Our citizens are very friendly. If you visit Fatatatutti you're likely to get Christmas cards from your taxi driver for years to come.

(This friendliness is thanks to the efforts of our intelligence agencies.)

We are unfriendly unless one conforms to the local values, especially Trinitarianism. Then we get very friendly and accepting.

We try to be as friendly as possible. Although that's just us. Our nation is filled with a bunch of different people, so some people could be complete jerks.

Ponies are extremely friendly; it's considered our national virtue.

That said, we are rather skittish around strangers, especially ones that appear carnivorous (which to us means pretty much anything non-pony). So for some of you it may take a while to get to know us. But once you've gotten past that, you'll find us quick to become besties.

It varies as there are good and bad Vallermooreians just like with other nations, but generally if you're not a black person and don't make an obnoxious ass of yourself or start fights things are normally fine. Many Vallermooreians are pretty racist still towards black humans, although the worst of the country's Jim Crow laws have been abolished.

Relatively unfriendly in busy cities such as Bana, Masindi, and Bdense. Curious or hostile for uncontacted tribes out in the rainforests. Friendly in the rest.

The spectrum in tangibility ranges from about 15% of the people touchy, kissy, huggy, feely to about 15% having well defined personal spaces with a strong right hook to the jaw for violators of said space; and the 60% median rightly uncomfortable with both.

In the rural parts of Narland people smile, wave and say "hello," or more likely, "greetings; howdy; or howdo," When driving down the road it is not uncommon to honk, or flash one's headlights as they drive by. When waiting in an area (such as a stage (bus) platform, or in queue at the market it is not uncommon to strike up conversation about sex, politics, and religion with total strangers. To ignore someone who greets another is considered rude and arrogant at worst, or a sign of mental illness or being mentally infirm at best.

In the big cities life is hurried and rushed. Some people may nod, and open the door for strangers when entering a business, or say, "Hello", "Hey," or furtively dart their eyes. Narport (our largest City) is still relatively polite compared to cities such as Portage Du Sable in the Shikagwa Syndicate, or New Amsterdam City in the New England Commonwealth (Chicago and New York City IRL, respectively).

In another sense, all 1st Order Citizens have unrestricted right to keep and bear arms equal or superior to the military power. A well armed society is a polite society. A polite society is a happy society. A happy society is a friendly society. Therefore Narland is very friendly.
