To maximize the use of silo volume as well as maximize internal volume, ICBMs are usually "full bore" all the way to the nose cone and do not taper as in certain other rockets like Saturn V. The nose in particular is usually as wide as possible to maximize the volume available for MIRVs:

Between the oversized pommel and the implausibly fat, tapered blade, that sword would be monstrously heavy. You also seem to have affixed the blade and pommel with riveted langets, which would probably be very fragile (especially for such a heavy blade); more likely this kind of weapon would be assembled with a more conventional tang.

I tried out the Shipbucket FD scale and although I found it very easy to work with, I don't like how small it is. I'm going to try JG scale next

Oversized, yes. But since it's hexagonal it doesn't restrict wrist movement. On top of that, small disk pommels were usually solid, but most, of not all that were on the larger side with hollow.

Oh I'm sorry should it be as wide at the tip as it is at the base?

that sword would be monstrously heavy.

Tell that to any long broad blade. You know distal taper and profile taper serve a purpose besides better thrusting ability, right?

You also seem to have affixed the blade and pommel with riveted langets, which would probably be very fragile (especially for such a heavy blade); more likely this kind of weapon would be assembled with a more conventional tang.

There is nothing to suggest the pins would be any weaker than any other pinned tang, or make it weaker than if it was just peened, let alone them being very fragile. All your points have been very unfounded.

In retrospect, that would have been the appropriate thing to do, yes.

It's not a big deal, it's a small deal, so it only needs a small response to make better. The big response just makes me want to hug you or sth. uwu

FWIW, the reason you do this isn't necessarily out of politeness (although it is polite), but because all Korva has re: that image is his name and personal ownership. If you take that away you're sort of taking away the ownership he has of that image by proxy, because his name is smaller than it could have been. No one can link your image with Korva's original guns, because you didn't credit Korva for the guns, despite modification. Since social capital is really all that is profitable about it in real terms, then by denying that, you sort of deny the time spent doodling in MSPaint or whatever was worth anything. Someone might stumble across it, assume you drew everything, and Korva is sort of unknown.

Personally speaking, I don't actually care if you credit myself or anything (although I do sort of expect it if only to see that people like my drawings enough to copy them), although I did a few years ago, but I've since found a more intrinsic value in doodling than "so-and-so credited me". After being exposed to the SB community for a fair amount of time I've become slightly more tolerant of kitbashing. I'd actually be more flattered than anything these days, but a lot of people who doodle things in MSPaint really don't like it when other people plagiarize their art.

H/e I've also never been victim of true plagiarism in the sense that someone outright stole my artsu. Plam just kitbashed a gun without asking anyone in a community that was composed exclusively of sole artist-proprietors and placed the wrong expectations upon Prem to fulfill the same ideal. I don't think the punishment meted out was out of proportion either, since it was somewhat unprecedented IIRC, and the community was more active. If someone outright stole whole artworks, without kitbashing, I might be inclined to be actually upset.

Also since you didn't outright steal Korva's artwork pixel-for-pixel, but kitbashed, I'm more inclined to lean towards flattery as a response but I'm also super cuddly these days and I might be a bit biased. owo

tl;dr *Hugsu* :3

I think I'm pretty much a JG scale convert now, it works pretty well for me
